Yes, Wall Street is rigged. How else do brokerage firms record positive gains every single trading day of a quarter (just luck?). They know exactly how many shares are held by retailers, and they know how to feed their media mouthpieces and scam "financial news" outlets. Combine that with an ability to endlessly naked short and high frequency trade, and its basically like putting money in a carefully controlled slot machine. They know how to manipulate the price to the hundredth of a cent with their daily algo's. It's an insiders game, and regular people who put any portion of there retirement savings in stocks are taking a big chance. You are right, its sad but true. That being said, fracking is much worse for the environment than burning coal, but it is not politically expedient to reveal those truths yet. Just a question as to how much damage is done before sanity returns due to its catastrophic consequences.
