Thank you Southern. Again, greatly appreciated. Your scenario is very reasonable.
Begs the question "Is Ming going to remain content being a big fish in his small regional pond?" Or will he want to expand both his wealth and power?
And will the natural gas find be significant enough to attract national attention?
If there is a new player(s) (the Big Boys) how are they impacting Ming's plan? Are the Big Boys the catalyst for Ming's reported desire to transform the company? Could Ming maintain more control of the company (drive it away from the Big Boy(s) control) if it grew and attracted national attention?
The above is all assuming your theory is reality. I believe that a large part of the problem is what is endemic to all of the China small caps.
Thanks southern. You are a much more experienced investor than I am and I was trying to pull more information out of you. ;)
For the prisoners dilemma to work your party's 1 and 2 would need to not be in communication. I choose to ignore party 3 for simplicity as party 3's motives are known by all (unless of course the majority of party 3 have interests in inline with party 1-- i.e. day traders).
I am very interested in what theory you believe most likely. I know you have used options rollover as your metric and with that as your primary metric the rest of the plays don't necessarily matter.
I watched the documentary Big Men last night. Made me think of GURE's natural gas discovery and all the talk about Big Boys. It is different than the documentary as Big Men is about discoveries in Africa. With GURE the discovery is in China and is made by a chinese company.
I've been buying between 1,000 and 2,000 shares everyday and am now up to a little over 10,000 shares. Been waiting for a dip closer to $1 but not sure it will come.
I sold over half of my GURE position at the market open this morning. I've bought another 1,000 shares of NBG today and am considering buying more.
Also watch LL tomorrow for possible capitulation. I haven't bought any yet and there may be another large drop coming.
Absolutely. Was that your sell at $2.90?
Hoping we break $3 and stay over $3.
Did you notice increase in volume in ABAC today? Not huge but there has been some buying interest.
Sounds very positive and upbeat. I expect he will be the same on CC. Hints at desire to become major natural gas producer. That could be interesting. Sound like cash will likely be used to drill many more wells.
Actually got me to pick up a couple thousand more shares at $2.45. We'll see how the report looks. Wondering how much impact the $10 million spent on the exploration well will have on the numbers.
I picked up a little more. Definitely the possibility of this dropping at anytime. I don't really understand options but I'm doing a little research so that I can watch for the rollover that Southern was discussing.
They've always liked this timing of Friday after close. Lets hope for stellar results. Bromine prices were up but their business isn't as dependent on bromine prices as it once was. There will be a deduction for the NG exploration.
True and nice catch. However, I could care less about grammar as people are typing fast. Just a pet peeve that no one knows how to spell lose.
Why do no Yahoo MB posters know how spell lose? Loose could refer to your wife but 'lose' is what you mean as in losing money.
Maybe I'll put in a limit order. I let my wife sleep in and get up with my daughter for breakfast before I'm off to work. I usually don't have much time to track any stocks until mid morning. Thanks for the tip though.
