Greatbarf, you say Obama is the worlds griftiest :) don't get in a rush with KMI and don't forget about entering through KMP. Many Limited Partners must sell shares to pay taxes. Some of the " not so swift" might not figure that out until mid April:) look for merger fear to rule along with tax loss selling. The best tax loss buys are usually afterChristmas IMO. Not looking at DKDN because trying to stay with in tribe of regular traders. Might peek later. Phil
Cirodrick, no experience with NNA but NMM is a 90% win if sold at intra cycle high and you don't get greedy. There fuel costs should be going down unless they have a Fuel Surcharge pass through as in the trucking business.
BABA is raising there IPO price from $66 to $68. News of the deep pocketed Slicktop interest must have reached China:). If you went to China to investigate what BABA is you might be tossed in prison . I also passed on Facebook,Google and Apple.
Minnyfan , Time to sit around the virtual campfire and sing " come by ya" :) Time to make money :) Time to have fun :) I think you are probably male and look like Don Knotts when he was ill or Jabba the hut . Did I call it?
Lord, I've been to the Middle East and seen da Nile :) I bought today at $10.07 knowing about the earnings problem and the possibility of a Dividend cut in future. With a 2 cent Divy cut the yield is $10.7% with a basis of $10.10. So I will trade and buy low Ect. Thank you for your concern.
Looked hard at NMM when it dropped 6% but since I have CPLP ,I passed . Both would be early buys and only want so much Capital in Greek Shipping.
Order filled at $10.07. I think the PPS will hit $10.50+ long before it hits $9. Is slick waiting at $9? No way, he's not stupid , he's probably in at $10.04. If so PSEC will attain the flawless complexion of a baby butt in slicks eyes ,until it hits. $10.50 anyway :) Best sit back and enjoy and not get too serious.
I put a buy order in at $10.07 it might hit or might not. I figure If the Divy is cut to 9 cents at a purchase price of $10.10 the yield would be 10.7%. Slick is a good trader who talk too much and minnyfag just talks too much.
Greatbarf, I see KM being soft through the first QT because the Limited Partners will have to sell shares to pay there tax bill. And merger euphoria is being replaced with merger fear. Take your time.
I started two trading positions this morning NCV and CNSL on the market down note. If you don't buy when down, when do you buy?
Epholder if there was a IRS audit ,the auditor at his discretion might call a KMP -KMP swap leading into a merger a wash sale . That's my opinion, everyone is welcome to there own.
Epholder, We were talking about what if Larry sold KMP now and bought KMR. If the price continued to drop and when the deal was consummated and a loss on the KMR ensued where that might be considered a Wash Sale. I said perhaps yes if Audited but the broker software would probably not call it.
Nacnuddeerc, I bet if audited the IRS Auditor might call it a wash sale, but I doubt brokerage computers would trip a wash sale.
