Opie find me where the IRS mentions day trading in a IRA or defines or regulates it. Come on genius let's see it.
Opiepie, As usual you are wrong. You can day trade in a Trad IRA but you can't use Margin. If you outrun your cash three times in a given period you are restricted to trading only when you have cleared cash for 90 days. Do you and harvykuenn dip out of the same Vasoline jar? It's none of your concery what someone else does. You sound like two grifters out to steal grannies gold tooth.
Opie, What happened to you in the last two years? Your reading comprehension has degraded, did you have a stroke ? You have said you were out for years and I have traded in a IRA for years. Best of luck with your therapy .
Opie you are the joke. You hang around with no investment for years just a trolling along. Why not troll other MB for stocks you don't own? I will get a tax bill when I withdraw funds from a IRA but not before.
The art of articulating reasons for daily stock market fluctuations is the foray of the PF geniuses. Fear and greed are the only reasons markets prices move. You're own posts show fear in one sentence and greed in the next. My meter is reading on the fear side. My total activity for the last two days is selling a January 2017 $122 strike covered Call on my 100 shares of GLD at $6.11. Too busy to try to trade at the moment. Remember the chicken most likely slaughtered is the chicken who sticks his head out. Best of luck to all, those fully invested in HY and on Margin need all the luck they can get.
Inhirst, I,m more of a interstate land broker, the more I trade the broker I get. Actually with rural land Realtors charge a 30%-40% commission instead of the usual 6% so you best do it yourself or don't do it at all. Much rather watch Tomatoes grow than ride back and forth.
Inhirst, I,m in same position holding 65%-75% cash and spending the summer downsizing into a smaller but more expensive house also selling farm land three hours away in Virginia. I,m running and working like a dog with little time to think about trading. Sold Calls on everything except VRX(so far) and letting it ride for the most part. I do have some very low ball bids out in case of a fast crash or Slicks "Big One" ( Marketageddon):)
Marcotheworm, When /if I give it a try it will be LNCO. I don't see how cancelling Common shares will benefit creditors , looks like they want to swap Everyone to LNCO shares executive ly dissolving LINE.The dog is still in the hunt with financing.
Just looking at refinery charts and at some point I will sell some deep OTM TSO Put that will give a nice premium and possible shares at/near/below 52wk low. No rush,if I miss the boat ? Oh well ! But of course if I end up in the hole ,I will blame others and not take responsibility for my decisions like these stupid trolls :)
Patrick,If memory serves you said the same of YRCW. Linn energys future depends on them acquiring financing, not a sure thing. If they announce a RS I might wager the wife's beer money on a drop and pop.
LNCO will dip to 2-3 cents and pop to 4-12 cents just before a restructuring RS, or at least that's what my Tea leaves say and my Ouija board confirms it :)
Bigbear, not trying to sell you my inventory:) but I think XLE is a good play for someone who wants to gain on oil recovery and does not consider himself a oil picker experts. XLE consists of a basket of about 40 large oil companies including refineries , up ,mid and down stream.
