Gas prices manipulated by commodity traders. Nothing more, nothing less. When the wholesale prices quoted are 2 months out, and the retail prices react slowly on the way down, but react immediately on the way up, That's BS.
GOOD QUESTION. The I-hubbers have dug up every bit of positive information they can possibly find, and all the investing public can say is "ho hum" Just maybe, the shorters are smarter than people give them credit for. so far, they're ahead in the game. Until REVENUE starts hitting the bottom line, they'll probably stay ahead in the game. The last 2 days have been ridiculous.
Don't know as you have too many years on me, but I was fortunate enough to get out of IOMG with a new Lincoln and a sizeable profit beyond. Up over 80% on this, with (hopefully) much more to go. Remember PRST???
Wow, I guess that every "exceptionally" profitable institution should be acquired by some other super behemoth by your reasoning.
Because the SP will ultimately be worth several multiples of 45-50.
Just went back & listened to the 2nd qtr conf call, and they said that 3rd qtr growth might be in the area of about 35% or so, due to seasonal issues,(3rd qtr last year was slower) but they still project 40% Y over Y growth. Call was pretty up-beat. Don't see any reason for the recent price action, except a 3 month time lag until the next report, during which time the innuendo artists can ply their trade.
