That one guy, alicante_2001us has a 'us' at the end so he can remember what country his account is supposed to be from. Boiler room idiots from India or the Philippines, wherever they get the cheapest monkeys who can type these days.
One giant rat trap today. Good for you if you knew better that a stock as promising as ACAD doesn't stay down forever. When the manipulation stops, it shoots right back up.
Because within a week there will be at least 1 buyout offer, and Felix is going to make dam sure everyone knows about it. Buyout offer $32-$35 IMO, doesnt matter if they accept it or not, it will set a new price.
Something definitely isn't right. Someone is manipulating. No news and its down 50% in one month. Lots of positives on the horizon.
I would be shocked if some buyout offers didnt come rolling in here in the next week. BP probably never thought they would see ACAD this cheap. If anyone was eyeing it, now is the time.
She is probably working for whoever is shorting and running the price down.
All of this makes me very suspicious as to why it is dropping. Someone is running it down for a reason despite all the positives here.

You forgot the mob killed JFK and the government covered it up. Transformers live on the dark side of the moon. However, 9/11 was the work of a bunch of now-dead terrorists, sorry if they were your relatives.
It takes volume to manipulate. For example, hedge A sells to hedge B, and back and forth to bring the price down. They arent paying $7 a trade like us sheep, and can do this and still make money.
He tweeted on April 3rd:
Two people at $LLY downloaded my last 7 $ACAD reports off First-Call in February 2014. Titles are (Sr. Ex Asst and M&A Biz Analyst)
Has anyone seen this?
I have never seen a buyout or buyout offer for a $5 stock at $40 per share the next day. The buying company wants the best deal as possible as well. The premium a buying company pays on top of the recent close price is to pry the shares out of true long term investors, funds, and inside owners. That being said we know one of the largest holders, the Baker Boys, bought in the $28's. To make them happy you would need a premium on top of that.
Big Pharma could come in with a offer to buy the company @ $35 a share this week, which would be about a 90% premium on todays close. Very realistic.
As to if the BB's and others accept that offer, thats a different story, but just making the offer alone, sends the pps up into the $30's. Thats all it would take is someone to throw out an offer.
Whoa, this price drop even woke up brettgravatt. Now we just need barganguy and that other guy with the hot wife on Facebook and its a 2013 reunion.
Price drop is pure manipulation, especially today. Nothing has changed here since ACAD was $30. There was a sell off of biotech last week and today the market rebounded. Biotech still hasnt recovered but today the manipulators OVERDID it. About 1 hr to close the MM's sent the signal to start buying, and from there it ran up. You can play games with charts and tarot cards all you want but understanding the corruption and behavior of hedgies and funds is more important.
He doesnt have to measure it because hes full of #@$ anyway. If people really could predict the market with this degree of accuracy, they wouldnt bother wasting time posting here trying to scare up a few longs stupid enough to listen, and instead would be out counting and spending his money.
This is back to June prices. Its not bouncing after such a steep drop either. The market is rebounding today too. This looks like clear and deliberate manipulation, but why? I know better than to think there is "bad news" and that it was leaked. It seems someone wants to acquire some shares cheap. Its a very shady way of doing it. Just unbelievable......
CFO is really just a figurehead. There is either an internal group of accountants or they outsource it to some firm. Sometimes they provide some level of leadership or direction. Just like the CIO in most companies doesnt really touch a computer all day unless its to answer his email.
Agree. And if these bashers are dumb enough to believe that their incredibly stupid postings actually influence even a single retail investor, it only tells you that being long is where the smart people are.
Note most of these people have some number behind their name, which means they are probably posting from some boiler room in the Philippines or India, paid by someone to post here. These people arent smart enough to have their own money to take a short position.
Should be back above $20 IMHO. Nothing has changed with ACAD, it is a slam dunk drug/company with a NDA filing in sight. Strong institution ownership with the Baker Bros. I truly believe they are in control here, and could push for some PR to be thrown out there. Maybe even some buyout M&A rumors to run things back up.
Wouldn't be surprised if a offer came in around $30 at this point. Market cap is really low at these levels, ripe for a buyout.
