    Anybody alive here?

First bought this about 3 years ago at about $8.50 then later doubled my stake. New cost about $10.50. No complaints about the the growth in price and certainly I'm thrilled by the 10%+ dividend yield (wish I had the $ to buy more). Your "anybody alive" comment is interesting because it's all but impossible to get info on this company. If anybody knows of a good source please let me/us know!

I have a friend who works for Suburban Propane. About 3/4 weeks ago he and about 20 other were given lists of 10 to 20 NRGY retail locations. They were to leave the following Monday to go out and do a "look see" on these plants. Since then the whole thing has been on hold and they are being told there are monopoly/antitrust issues in some areas.

Don't know if this helps anyone, just reporting what I hear.

Love it when you said "bet accordingly". My Father used to say that if your not an insider the stock market is just a big crap game.

Anyway I'm just a kid at 67 and I do believe like you that this stock will have good cash flow for years to come.

I'm a stock holder and of course I'm hoping for the best for all of us (GTY stock holders). That saids it sounds like the only people who will make any real money on all this are the lawyers.

    Warm winter impact on SPH

Less cold means less degree days means less gallons means less profit. Less gallons for many reasons is worrisome. Suburban route driver here in California says; While California "may or may not" be indicative of the rest of the country Suburban is getting killed by the competition. They continue to make up for lost gallons by increasing margins. This amounts to sky high prices the last 3 to 4 years. The customers are catching on and they are hostile. They are bad mouthing SPH and switching. Those who don't know better are just simply using much less as they can not afford anywhere near the gallons they historically used. SPH now has so many tanks in their locations that they have leased big acreage near Susanville to store/hide them. As an example Placerville which once had 13 route trucks and did 11 million gallons now does 3 million gallons with 4 route trucks. The numbers for Grassvalley are about the same. It seems to me you can only lose gallons and increase margins to make up for it for so long.
