Bravo, there he goes again, begging, like a dog for a bone, for his buyout. Interesting scenario today, and one I've speculated on her before, the problem with YHOO the stock, is not just the core, but also the BABA stake. Now do you know why Jack Ma doesn't want to buy more of his own company back? Slickster, just like MM, trying to cash out, not in, and leave shareholders in the pile of #$%$# left behind.
Pebble, I also had a couple of messages deleted yesterday, relating to Snapchat and MM, but you know my cynical view of what's going on in this company, so it was regarding WHOM actually benefits from possible said stake.
But I think you need to kick your addiction to this stock, and seriously think about letting go, before you lose all. If it were me, I'd dump YHOO today. I'm honestly concerned for you.
What would happen if MM resigned tomorrow, Coldone and Bravo quit lying about their buys, and Bad Grandpa Buffett gave me a billion dollars, and installed me as CEO of Yahoo?
Imagine Marissa Mayer hacking into your bank and brokerage accounts ... now you won't sleep tonight!
I'm disappointed MM didn't offer me, or any of the other cynics here, that credit line, just to get rid of us. On the other hand, I haven't seen her Pet Bravo around today. Hmmm ...
If it was indicative of a sale of Yahoo, why wouldn't the stock be bid up on high volume in the AH? YHOO is only up 15 cents or so, when I looked to see if the hopeful sages on this board were on to something. Seems doubtful, as usual.
Infinite rounds, because Yahoo will never get the bid it deems worthy of giving up all those MM and BOD recurring stock options handouts, on top of exorbitant salaries.
Pebble, don't mind those people making more money either. Let the chips fall where they may. I know plenty of people making good money who are still struggling to pay ordinary expenses, like mortgages, medical bills, and education for their kids. There's another area, with especially high inflation, we forgot: Education. Give those underworked and overpaid university professors a serious salary haircut, or make them actually take on a full year's workload. OK, I'm done here, but will check for responses later. Perhaps even "Chalid" will finally chime in. How about it, Coldone?
