"If they know that something is going to happen then they can't buy." - aw
Now THIS is really funny (or sad and clueless).
They NEVER bought ANY shares. They collected free shares in one hand, and sold a majority of them with the other.
There most certainly IS something to be ascertained from the event, or lack there of, but probably not any more so, than the BOD requiring Laub's strategic expertise, after nearly a decade of underperformance as a CEO.
talking to himself is probably the least offensive thing, he does with himself.
... is this is the FIRST August, since ever (well, not really), that there wasn't a fury of Insider Transactions. I think Skaggs did something small, but it never showed up on Yahoo (too small?)
Cramer is MEANLESS in ANY light... that is not to imply FBR is any better
the beginning of the day... You need to OWN the stock the day BEFORE it goes EX, to get the dividend. The stock open is typically priced MINUS the amount of the dividend, on the day it goes EX.
(one of several actually) ... to closely monitor the Insider Transactions. Has ANYTHING been accomplished in the last year to warrant BONUS payouts?? Stevie made sure he was around for his last grab bag. Has anybody gotten confirmation on his replacement? The CFO, even with a case of Prozac, is a SORRY SOLUTION.
Maybe we just look at the markets in a different way. If YOU can jump in and out, and make a profit, good for you. Every stock I buy, I go in ASSUMING I am going to keep the stock for at least a year... doesn't ALWAYS work out that way, but for the most part it does. I seldom buy at the bottom. I buy stocks that I feel have a better than even chance of success... and watch the cards play out. 80% of my choices are boring old, dividend paying, juggernauts. I don't lose a lot of sleep.
the market is a game of musical chairs.... You better understand, and ACCEPT that,... or sit out. It is attempted to be legitimatized... but it is. what it is... and you CAN survive, and maybe even prosper(!?!)
SUPN will be just fine.
his performance "bonuses" awarded by the Board of Directors,
totally worthless clowns
but NEVER forget, it is a game of musical chairs... The more players, the higher the risk of being left clueless when the music stops. Diversification is how longevity is attained ... never forget it.
