thanks slave. I appreciate the update. and I didn't know about western star being Canadian built. when I was working pcar billed themselves as the "only" American owned and operated class 8 truck builder on the globe. ima thinkin now there is a better than 50/50 chance that was a damned lie too. it fits them like a hand in a glove. my best to you and yours! ya'll try 2 stay warm and safe! u outta be getting the drift of retirement now. I believe the longer u do it the better u will like it:) play safe!!!!!

I don 't believe this is an American nameplate. I believe it is Canadian. pcar used to be the only American owned class 8 vehicle on the road. I may be wrong. I been outta the loop for awhile. ih moving a lot of production to mexico won't /didn't have a positive effect on their product. the Canadian unit was terrific. they also were using cummins as an option to their corn binder power plant. Volvo and freightliner are cookin. the Volvo eng and I trans are matched up very nicely. I have a friend drivin a 14 p/b with the ms. eng in it. I await his feedback on that product. I wouldn't believe nothing pigott or his family told about the thing. it will be whatever it is. I am curious:)

I haven't thought about it . the country was ripped apart in the viet nam war. then along comes the 2 war criminals who are goinr to have to deal with fallout of the data from yesterday. i.m.h.o. it couldn't be anymore divided before yesterday but I never considered the cia, the potus, and veep all conspiribg against the population in order to make war and allow cheney to come out a 40 billion dollar winner. (he calls that "hooey"). as for executive orders signed ima bettin the current prez has signed fewer than ny before him. at least in my lifetime. the look and explanation given by Bush looked like he had been slapped for farting at the dinner table. "he's caught". as for the grand jury, I have been on 1 of those. u get only the info u get. u don't know what u don't know. I believe the number of "2" is far fewer than what's really going on. if a guy can't do anything else he can be a cop. the cop in Cleveland was never investigated and should never have been hired! so sayeth the Cleveland p.d. I say again, my focus is "who is the right gonna run"? sara, ted nugent, perry the felon, mitsy again, etc? the longer I live the more I see history repeating itself. Nixon was pardoned. I am watching to see if bush/cheney get war criminal status they have earned. if so, what happens next? a pardon? (that's likely) stay tuned. have as safe a Christmas season as u can. the malls are a mine field!!!!!!!!!

slave, if u were to check my police record what u would find is "I don't have one"......thanks for the advice. yes, Nixon, kent state. there was never anybody arrested over that mass murder. maybe the news where u live doesn't show what they show here. cops blindsiding folks, strangling them to death, cops pulling up in cars , taking 2 seconds to evaluate and shooting dead a 12 yr old. it is a combo of Selma Alabama and Chicago in 68 from where I sit. rent-a-cops shooting unarmed folks. maybe that's ok with u. it ain't with me. the belligerence I see comes in with clubs drawn, riot gear on, tear gas being fired on citizens who are mad because the cops are gunning down neighbors and kin folk.u may have been a cop. u kinda sound like it. your resume' looks like a roadmap. want safety? go to a donut shop.

I know the same thing u know. mid term elections are "not" a referendum. what I would like to do if I could is set down ata waffle house (they have great coffee) and talk politics with u as long as u can stand the whuppin. I answered all your questions. enjoy the benefits and share with your family this holiday season. if U wanna cut 2 the chase, instead of denying how much better things are, U tell ME who r u guys runninin 16? here's a tip: if u enter a mule in a horse race again u will be beaten again. "if" your part continues to try to strip peole of their healthcare it is political suicide. from where I sit the $15 minimum wage is an issue. if the cops don't quit choking folks 2 death and shootin 12 yr old's after 2 seconds of investigation time "that" will be an issue. not sayin your guys are responsible but a smart politician will tie all the cop killins, beating in the streets, etc. to Nixon and lent state in 70. "if" everybody were mandated to vote, "u guys are d.o.a.". be safe out there shoppin! this year we have the thugs, thieves, and cops to contend with. my recommendation is use amazon!

is it a joke that it ain't 4-5 a gallon anymore? is it a joke u r pocketing the difference? is it a joke your grandchildren have healthcare till mid 20's? I believe U r the joke and a dishonest one at that. why grandpa did the republican party NEVR whisper these things that help folks so much? why is "taxbreaks for the upper 1% all they talk about"? grandpa, why have U never told the family these things? it doesn't seem like a joke! how much more is your stock today than it "was" grandpa? grandpa, r u dishonest or do u have Alzheimer's? you sound like st. raygun. Slave, I gope u spend your windfall savings on your family at Christmas as opposed to try to selling it "nothin's changed". that will be your biggest lie to your family. you republicans will strangle your family for a dime. do u have a pic of Bernie Madoff displayed in your house?

1 healthcare for diabetics can't b refused.2 healthcare for heart disease can't be refused. 3 u or I will never lose all we worked for all our life due to accident or illness. there's a lot more but if u can't figure out what I just cited u need to just watch, look, and listen. do u think the stock prices from where it was to where it is is a coincidence? unemployment from 10% to 5.8%. man u have "got" 2 b brighter than this question indicates. next time u pull up to buy gas note what u pay. then have a flashback. .................hello. hopefully this Christmas will b better due to the dropoff in fuel expenses. in case u don't "get it", truck sales are going up for the same reason they went down..............FUEL PRICES. ......I can't believe u asked such a question. 4 u, take heart! Bristol palin says she wants in politics. now u got somebody new to vote for. congratulations!!!!!!!!!

get a democrat in office and watch things take off. no new news here. if u want to sink get another republican appointed. it WILL go down the tubes. always did in my 38 yr career. it's doin it again now. bush finally did all the damage he could. it is a remarkable comeback from where it was when Obama was ELECTED. it will be interesting to see what happens in the last 2 yrs of lame duck. but the duck has grown teeth and is biting back the economic policies of 8 yrs of disaster. a 6 yr bounceback is a welcome sight I would think if I were a stockholder, which I ain't.

the Volvo powertrain is on record for many, many years as opposed to the Ms. power plant for pcar. i have a friend runnin the pcar engine in a 2014. he hasn't run it enough to comment on it. only been in it about 1 month. i'm interested in hearing from something other than a commercial. it's gonna get cut-throat in the class8 industry even moreso than ever i.m.h.o. we shall see.

Canadian labor laws are more worker friendly than the u.s. it may be the office staff and factory staff up there. i wonder if Canada requires vehicles to be made in Canada in order to run on Canadian highways? if so, somebody has to blink.

JOLENE, I NEVER PRINT RETRACTIONS. not then not now, not ever. when u r right, u r right. of course it's spot on! only a lunatic would argue otherwise. I see u have someone arguing. LOLOL. ya'll are funny. have as good a Christmas as u can and thank Obama for opening those wells raygun capped in the 80's. the u.s.a. is now the global leader in oil production. does that make bush cheney any bigger liar? of course not. they were/are already black belt!

I reckon I mistook your meaning possibly getting out of my depth. my intent was to say the oil will flow from point a to b with or w/o the big pipeline. the moving of the material (oil) will continue by rail and truck. how they get the oil from the ground to the shipping point is all over my head. frankly, I don't think we have to weep or worry about oil making a profit. regardless, have a merry Christmas.. the product that suddenly got plentiful "will" be moved. the more movers the more trucks needed. if pcar has a product that is in demand they should sell more trucks. the u.a.w. plants are. there is no reason pcar shouldn't as well............................i.m.h.o......I didn't mean to intermingle politics with the emergence of an abundance of oil to move although it is a good point. raygun capped those wells. Obama opened them. politics aside. have a good'un.

the lowering of overhead costs (fuel) = more profit for the drivers which in theory should increase units sold. theres no way lower fuel prices will "hurt" the industry i.m.h.o. u make a good point referencing the pipeline. as long as it is "not" allowed the oil will flow by rail and 18 wheelers. since the u.s.a. is now the worlds leader in producing oil that product "has to flow". and it will. ain't it good to have bush and his well cappers gone. now that the wells are open and refineries are running and we are not bombing globally it creates more fuel for the public which lowers prices which moves more volume. it should be a gold mine if their product is desirable. and they have bozo the clown out of the c.e.o. seat.

I am "sure" the stadium was glad to get the sponsorship gig with LP. they lost "Adelphia" I think in the Bush meltdown. and LP bought their way into the NFL sponsorship so I reckon it's a win/win.
