Today was unusually high. Normally the pps remains flat on OPEX. Under the flat premise you want to sell calls. In a way, It's like free money. Even if it goes up a big, you could then sell a put and basically get paid to buy it lower. Also, if it goes up and you get called it's fine. You just want to get in and enjoy the ride. To me the trend is more important than the pps. IMHO anyways.
do any of you sell in the money options?
I usually buy call and puts but a few days ago, I sold in the money covered calls on all my positions that expire today. With today's run up, all of them in the money with a nice margin for the buyer. However, most were not called. This could still happen but it would be for very little profit. Has anyone come across this? Why would calls with several hundred dollars in the money would not be called?

yahoo answers has a question on this. Google "How does Obama afford a 40 million dollar estate in Hawaii?"
medicare, medicaid, and the VA are actually well known for giving bad care, bad services Medicare is actually known for being extremely wasteful and so open to corruption that billions of dollars are wasted a year on fraud alone. That's well known to everyone so I don't know where you are coming up with the "look it up" BS. For a glimpse of reality, google: "Medicare And Medicaid Fraud Is Costing Taxpayers Billions". As far as the VA, gee some poor veterans who are disabled due to war, have to wait forever to get the care they need. LOOK IT UP. This is a huge bureaucracy and there are waiting lists for wheel chairs that sometimes they won't even get approved -- yeah even if you are missing both legs. Indeed, veterans sometimes have to resource to non-profit organization like the Wounded Warrior Project to get essentials and/or acceptable handicap equipment. if the in-your-face waste and poor efficiency organizations represent a desirable standard for you, that's good. To me and many other it's far lower than we'd expect. But besides that, even if I choose something John Doe doesn't like, I WANT TO MAKE MY OWN CHOICES. This is not China.
But come on, trying to convince anyone medicare, medicaid, or the VA are doing a exemplary job is like trying to convince people that the nazis ultimately meant good.
I hope someday you touch the ground. It'll probably feel really alien to you :)
