kpail, you know our government is very heavily influenced by lobbies of the rich and powerful to an extent that our democracy is becoming an extinct specie!! Hillary is just a run-of-the-mill politician, like Chuck Schumer, and is, in my opinion, incapable of shaking up the lobbies. The reason Clintons decided to settle in NY, despite being southerners, is that they love money and power!! How could she cut the very branch she is standing on? Trump is inexperienced, but, once elected, and being a smart guy and a savvy businessman, who is not obliged to WS guys and knows how to handle them, will have excellent team of experts and experienced people helping him, when being the President. Also, looking at his popularity and smartness, a lot of elected Congressmen and Senators may decide to side with him. IF REAGAN COULD DO IT, WHY NOT TRUMP?!!!!!
Kpail, Hillary and her husband are heavily obliged by these Manhattan crooks and, hence, I doubt she is really going to do anything at least during her first term if she is elected. Trump, while being an politician is bold and gutsy enough to take care of these crooks. Whether he will get cooperation from the Congress and the Senate is a different matter; but, with the Republican majority in the Congress he is likely to get enough support if he realizes that such an action will guarantee him the second term and drag more Democrats to vote for him. He is no fool to realize that ultimately the people/voters are the real power! Others in the party will just follow the suite.
that we must break up all big banks and take those out of the securities trading market through which they use their MM position hedge funds controlled by them to manipulate securities trading. These bas.....XXXtards have been screwing the markets and have corrupted the entire securities trading system. Hillary apparently is lying in bed with these crooks and we have no choice but to vote for and elect Trump.
WS and retail trading crooks are manipulating to accumulate cheaply with cooperation from the MM. They all want to bag a huge gain when the SP jumps. You will then see the monkey dance!!!
It shows simply how vermin traders, MM and hedgies manipulate this stock collectively to make their living. They apparently do not know any decent way to make their living!!!!
Let us hope that your optimism becomes a reality in all aspects sooner than thought.
A couple of surprise announcements or events can happen before 2017! There is a reason wise people keep holding!!
It's either stupidity or deliberate attempt of manipulation by some posters on this board to build up unreasonable and unnecessary expectation preceding every such AARC meeting date. It happens all the time as I have seen and only those who are foolish fall in that trap. The fact of the matter is that Janssen will proceed in the trials at its own pace and as appropriate. Scientific investigations are not like auto manufacturing and sales which require to set optimistic goals. Most posters on this board act like those trying to place a square peg in a round hole!!!
Sorry, please read " should have added MY name......"!!
Box, you should have added you name as a consigned!! I took holding almost that any shares for not just a year since 2012 and earlier! I whole heartedly agree with all the points you are making. However, I wonder ehereDr. Huh stands, with or against Scarlett? I think more frustrated shareholders should do the same to let the board know that we are not dummies and we are not silent spectators!! Your point on the acquisition is agreeably a stupid or a deliberately covert action on the part of apparently Scarlett. Who does he think he is? He is not the owner of the company; but, acts like one!!
either lies or exaggeration and are often misleading. It is not source for realistic assessment of matters related to Geron or even IMET. Even so-called pundits show shallow understanding. I am not implying I a an expert, but have been generally frustrated to get any accurate or deeper and credible understanding of the matters. This is my honest opinion.
Taz, it's a very slow growing abnormality and occurs at age when doctors think any expensive treatment is not justified, especially looking at the difficulty to get authorization from insurance companies. For expensive treatments, prior authorization from insurance companies is required under current situation. Therefore, Janssen is not going to spend efforts to investigate application of IMET for such cases. I think, IMET will be tried only for critical hematological malignancies and, later, in combination with other drugs, for solid-tumor cancers where this may be worth. The situation in Japan and other countries can be different. Just think practically.
Tax, more sites may be needed if they want 200 patients as the basis, not necessarily number of sites and, the other reason can be that more centers may have requested to have the trial at their sites too. Either way, it tells me that the word of IMET's potential success is spreading OR the potential use is getting larger!!
Your statement and the 12 thumb-downs you got so far tells me that there are atleast 12 such paid trolls who stick on this board. That is just too many of the worms!! They all better join ISIS because their mentality and practice of making their living is similar to those suicide bombers who don't have any other jobs and don't know what else to do!! In clear terms, they are just the trash of a society, that has to be discarded.
The stock was around $4 when I bought it and the company was sold within six months after that for $8.5!! You must have bought it when it was called ACTC and held it and sold at a loss before it jumped on acquisition!! Naturally, your stupidity resulted in your loss and, hence, the grapes are sour!! But, it's more stupid to keep grieving about the past instead of moving ahead wisely!!
Cheng, if you watch the tape, you will see a lot of 1-2K trades. Of course, there must be hedge funds shorting this stock; but, that can not rule out presence of a lot of retail traders sticking to this stock.
