This must have been based on the extensive monitoring testing that followed the trial at Mayo. The experts at Janssen and Mayo must have been studying the data and want to try 4.7 for the trial in Europe. The Jakafi-lobby influence may still be strong at the U.S. FDA to let it lag behind the trial in Europe. Remember the MPN Forum onslaught on IMET? I call it "the Manhattan influence" on everything our govt does!!!

The Jakafi lobby factor!! What else? The FDA board must have been stuffed with Jakafi interests!!!

X, long time since you posted last unless I missed!! Thanks for an informative post. Such posts have been rare lately on this board! Please keep posting your thoughts.

Optimism for this stock always has brought frustration in the past. I agree with your projection and hope, this time, the trend will be reversed since it's not the Geron management running the trial but Janssen with a substantial help from Tefferi. It's time we shareholders get elated!!

  • mruyog mruyog Apr 23, 2015 2:05 PM Flag

Reasonable for the next couple of months. But, once the trial starts and an FTD is granted, it will be way above that!!

PyarHiPyar's prediction is too optimistic for a yet Ph 2 stage. Possible if an FTD is granted. But, we will see when that happens.

Jack, some of the skunks reside on this board, identified by the downthumbs you get when you criticize these skunks. Ignoring these skunks, one observation I made is that while OCAT and AST trades are sized in a few hundreds those of GERN are generally in thousands. Also, the total trade volume, accounting for the SP of AST, OCAT and GERN, is much larger than that of the other two. This shows that while trading for AST and OCAT is primarily and generally by retail traders, that of GERN must be by institutional hedges who through cooperation from and ties with MM (perhaps Merrill Lynch) must be in the game to keep the GERN SP dragged down below $5 to keep other institutional investors out so that they reap benefit through day trading using computerized and manipulative means. This whole thing is perhaps in violation of SEC regulations; but they do in such a way that it makes it hard to catch these dogs. Did you notice to-day's news about the Deutche (sp?) Bank settlement of $2.5B for manipulating LBR that was in the center of the 2008 crisis? These jerks have become so sophisticated and influential (thanks to our money-hungry and power-hungry corrupt politicians!) that this activity may have become a NY financial district's rampant, largely unchallenged criminal activity. I have no doubt that some of this activity and also stupidity or deliberate plan of Scarlett-Huh and company is behind this SP manipulation. Whatever the brainwashed semi-pundits posting on this board believe or say will not change my perception of this activity unless Scarlett and company really does something that takes the SP to level well above $8 or a reasonable level by next Fall. If it doesn't happen, I will still remain suspicious of their intent.

Well, I am afraid thos dogs may eat most of our lunch and throw leftover at us, just like West and biotech shareholders got the most out of Geron's stem cell assets for which Geron shareholders footed hundreds of millions of dollars to acquire!! Of course, some bozos on this board won't see this and will certainly give their downthumbs to this post!!

Shows how dumb and short-sighted the guy is!! He along with the Geron board sold the valuable stem cell assets dirt cheap!! Hope they do not make such lousy deals for IMET and 615!! As long as such bozos pocket millions in compensation, I guess, they wouldn't care!!

Greg, no argument about that; however, they shouldn't be selling the Geron assets and rights cheap and MUST try to bring the best deal for its shareholders!! Have these two done that? And, that's why they are kind of a "mole" of big pharmas!!

beaver, do not forget that Hu worked in Manhattan for a number of years and had sold his company to a big pharma. He and Scarlett must have ties with big pharmas and that's why they were brought in! Scarlett joined the company after Hu established himself in the company. These two (I call "bozos") must have a mission they are after. I do not think retail shareholders are of any concern to either of them. They apparently do not like retail shareholders and, therefore, may be doing everything they can to increase favored institutional holding. This is dishonest, yet that's what is in their personal best interest. Look at the way Huh and Scarlett managed to declare initially that the IMET had failed in solid tumor and even ET/PV trials (causing a massive stumbling of the SP and thus allowing them to increase the institutional holding by scaring away retail holders) and how dirt-cheap deal for stem-cell assets was done. Have they ever held any shareholder meeting to approve or made even prior announcement to seek shareholder consent for any of these decisions? What does all that tell you?,

What the potential law suit is about

I agree and your logic seems to be very reasonable. WS crooks play all such games and may have paid agents on this board whose job is to keep posting negatively. They may have INCYinstitutional vested interests supporting them whole-heartedly. In this money seeking hell called WS, all evil games must be a standard practice!! The law firm must have such WS connection and interest.

  • AST!! Now the MM and traders are playing a yo-yo game there!! Do these people have any other talent or ability to make their living?!!!

The holders of 25M shorts!! It can't be just retail traders. It has to be mostly institutional hedgies and they are fighting tooth-and-nail while manipulating retail traders like mon....keys with MM cooperation!! It's all a quick-money-making scheme. This has become a standard practice in the current-day WS world where greedy portfolio managers are hired and paid handsomely, who continually manipulate selected stocks to make quick bucks. And, a lot of them succeed, some get bored doing so and retire with hefty gains. Thanks to the cooperating SEC and the Congress!! WS must be the most corrupt place in our country!!

It is quite different than what you think and is deeper, perhaps a conspiracy which may include some players at WS and, apparently,, the MM. But, IMET, despite all this drive by the INCY interests, is on its way to knock down Jakafi inhibitors out of the market or shrink it to a non-entity. Here, the players may be Merrill Lynch and others v/s J&J!! Of course, mon....keys residing on this board watch the chart, follow a large trade and jump in and out like real Mon....keys!!! These are the mon...keys that hide their face through downthumbs!!!

  • who are deadest to keep dragging the Geron SP down while apparently the same ones taking the ASY SP to stratosphere and propping up INCY? Do they reside on this board? Please help find those so that we can drive them off this board!!! They sure are paid bashers and paid shorts.; some must be disgruntled ex-holders or employees trying to take revenge in a stupid way.
