2 ATR inhibitors have been found

What is new in this? Didn't the Geron scientists found this a long time ago when they developed IMET? It's one thing to publish a paper and it's another to actually develop a substance to accomplish that and run actual trials to define its effectiveness!! The latter is a far advanced accomplishment than the former!!!

Tool of Power?!!! A similar tool is used by ISIS!! This" too" is an evil tool and must be bombed like the drones bombing ISIS camps!!! Apparently, you are proud of this activity!! What a shame!!! Find something constructive in life to keep busy than making easy money through lies and manipulation - that is a social responsibility of all civilized societies.

My views on what is going on currently with the SP are expressed on this board to-day in response to another post. In short, I think the stock currently is purely in a trading phase and very little in the investment phase. I do not think Geron board is any more concerned about holding the SP high.

IWS, you imply that Tefferi came into the picture after J&J. That, in my view, is contrary to what may have actually happened. I believe that having seen the results of Tefferi's work at Mayo, J&J management may have decided to get into it. Perhaps, the FDA's action of hold-lift came after J&J decided to join the team and J&J and the FDA jointly may have forced Geron to keep Tefferi in its Ph 2 trial. Your logic doesn't explain the FDA imposing the hold for 8 months. Perhaps the hold forced Scarlett and the Geron board to make a deal with J&J. In any case, the whole process may very well be better for bringing IMET to the market properly. Of course, INCY developing a drug in competition to IMET or in conjunction with it is hard to say.

    Distractions!

kpail, it could very well be a part of manipulation by the MM and certain hedge fund(s) working in tandem to keep the SP low and also manipulate traders so that the trading remains active. More trading everyday, better the business for the MM!! There is hardly any serious investment activity with this stock for some time, it's all trading activity. And, this activity is always a manipulation game among traders, hedgies and MMs, and hardly based on fundamentals except chart-based techniques. Retail tradersreligiously following charts are always fooled and often baffled by the other two; but the monkeys generally do not realize that.

  • trying drag down SP and placing buy orders at lower than market price - the tactic vermin use to make their living through lies posted on this board; but, the hedgies fool them!! It is interesting to see how these insects desperately try to make their living!! God help them get to senses and live a meaningful honest life! Will they go for it? That's is a million-dollar question!!

beaver, Scarlett currently may have been least concerned about swings in the SP (especially Geron is not looking any more for any share offering to raise funding). People like BlackMarango's effort are just fruitless. His priority must be the multi-center trial and how best to advance it to win the big prize.

True, if you are not personally convinced that IMET is a wonderful compound and that has been apparently recognized by Mayo and J&J. Also, hold lifting by the FDA is another sign that it is being looked at as an important compound for treatment of a variety of cancers, either in solo or in combination with other compounds. We will find out about this more definitively in perhaps very near future.

beaver, this manipulation is apparently by hedge funds and MM. Both knowing that the IMET is a BTD drug and due to Mayo and J&J involvement in it, Geron shares are pretty safe for these vermin to play daily and make money through daily swings. Like I said before, this is going to continue until announcement for the multi-center trial is out and, if not by then, once the FDA grants the trial a FTD or BTD when large institutional investors start jumping in heavily. And, these are very well be the reasons also for us longs to keep holding the shares and keep adding as when the SP slides to low levels, if we can. I am not worried. I just take it as a fun watching how vermin behave and gang up to make easy money. A lot of them are also residing on this board, trying to manipulate other vermin and brainwash weak holders. But, primarily, it must be the game played jointly by the MM and hedgies..Nothing we can do about it!! It's the way the WS dogs control the current-day market - thanks to evolution of computerized trading and software development these institutional vermin use to make money. Some loose sorely too!!l And, then the portfolio managers loosing badly get fired!

I see a lot of naïve posters on this board hyping Tefferi doing this and that and telomerase concept getting recognized in the oncology arena, and so forth to influence visitors of this board and trying to tie the SP movement to those aspects! Perhaps the vermin controlling the current-day securities markets must be laughing at these guys!! These things do not control the daily swings of the SP. and the institutional hedgiesdo have experts knowing these things much more deeply than half-knowledged pundits showing off on this board!! But, all in all, it's fun for me to see a variety of posters on this board.

  • it means WS dogs are creating buying opportunities for themelves by manipulating chart-following idiots/vermin and a nice jump is in the cards within a few days at the most. Watch it!!

You have a point that is credible and it's a wise thing. My experience is not much different than that except posts by some knowledgeable wise guys, of course not by self-appointed and half-educated so-called pundits!!

It has been quiet for some time and they have to begin Ph 2 soon. I think the management must be in an active process of lining up finances for the phase and, being aware that any offering will simply result in disliked dilution and that the Ph 1/2 results were excellent showing not only excellent safety but also significant effectiveness, it must be trying hard to line up partnership with a major pharma, just like Geron did with J&J. I will not be surprised if the management is giving priority to do that than the uplifting as many on this board think. In any case, it must come out soon with some kind of news.

Guys, I am talking about the Manhattan vermin, residing in those high rises!! They stayed protected in those high rises while the blizzard went through and came out when the sunrise next day woke them up!!! I was hoping they got killed; but, alas, they survived!!!

  • mruyog mruyog Jan 28, 2015 3:37 PM Flag

Without mutation of responsible gene, there is no cancer!! So how does a physician even try "early hit telomerase"?. I do not think you still get my point of actual clinical use restrictions the FDA needs to establish! Anyhow, let us leave it here. Thanks.

  • in the blizzard!! No they are alive and working!!They are spreading and multiplying like the IS!!!! So,, what should we do to eradicate them? Any ideas?!!

Do you read English well? I used the phrase, "I expect..." Do you know what it means, especially for this board where people are expected to exchange their views? A lot of idiots have a wrong idea that this is a scientific platform!! It is not!!!
