    Geron Future PPS

    by ligas3 10 hours ago

Yes, Black, it has been a grueling long wait!! But, could Okarma and the then board have made it easier than Scarlett and the current board?

  • Interesting discussion, Shino, Smiggy & Guttermut. Blackmarango is after chippy, rightly or wrongly for quite some time and he apparently won't budge from that position. At least, he is consistently so!!

The important thing to keep in mind is that Geron is a clinical-stage biotech which possesses a golden egg and the WS hedgies and manipulators know that. The other important thing to remember is that Geron is able to nail down a good deal with a company like J&J well before even Ph 2 is started since such deals normally occur during Ph 3 or not before Ph 2 is about to end. For this, credit of course goes to the Geron board. Also, Geron will no longer need to look for any more financing; i.e., no more share dilution. Furthermore, the Janssen deal eliminates any chance of any more commercial paper for financing, leaving the company solely in the hands of common share holders (which is important if the company goes into BK, although it's least likely now). Therefore, I have withdrawn all my criticism of the board.

The traders and hedgies, primarily institutional, know at present that the company has a golden egg but is not likely to give out any more astounding news for some time, are simply using the situation, especially because it's a biotech which will be wrapped up with the slow-moving FDA, to take advantage of making money through daily swings since the large institutional investors can be kept out until the SP is $5 or above. The shorts are primarily monkeys and not really wedded to Geron shares like we longs are. Their sole purpose is to make money while spreading rumors. I will disagree with Black due to these reasons. I do not think it's wise for the Geron management to do anything with these manipulators. Yes, the SEC can; but, sadly, that inept and lobby-influenced outfit won't to do anything to stop casino-type gambling and manipulation of the current-day securities market.

Vermin are trying to make money through SP manipulation, earning a few cents a share a day!! You will see this for many sectors, especially the biotech sector where the vermin can easily spread rumors to influence SP. Monkeys follow, like a swarm of bees. Nothing else!!! That's how they all make their living. It's a new world where you do not have to sweat to make your living. It's widespread all over the Street, Kramer is not an exception!!!

They do not give damn if a company finds a cancer-curing product or not!! Their motto: Manipulate while lying as much as you can, make money, find a sexy sleeping partner boasting about the money made, then lie again to spouse about what delayed him coming home, take a shot and sleep in reverie; finally, get up and start all over again!! Oh, they captured the world's best life, isn't it?!!!

  • vermin become active and by placing small-size fake buy-sell orders try to move the share price. They never cease to give up their habit!! Are these vermin not a social cancer?!!!

Who is this west-coast idiot who keeps giving downthumbs on issues he can't comprehend? Must be a sore looser!!!

  • mruyog mruyog Dec 15, 2014 1:12 AM Flag

I have no doubt about it. But, I believe it will be announced at an appropriate time, perhaps some time in 2016, if not by end of 2015.

  • mruyog mruyog Dec 15, 2014 12:52 AM Flag

beaver, with a golden egg in hand, Geron certainly will be able to attract a few other major pharmas, including certain foreign ones, to easily beat such a worthless deal by J&J!! A bidding war will surely develop. Therefore, I am sure J&J would not be foolish to gobble up Geron so cheap even if it holds more than 5% of Geron shares.

Do not forget that these "doctors" have been able to keep the company debt=free and having a substantial and also were able to nail down the deal with a company like J&J well before even Ph 2 is to start. Generally, this is done later! Also, these guys haven't used any commercial paper other than common shares for financing, making shareholders vulnerable to loose their shirt in case of a bankruptcy!! Well, I was critical of the management before the hold lift and J&J deal; but, not anymore!

Jack, the manipulators are scared shorts or paid agents of hedge funds. I call them "vermin". To lie is in their blood and is their way of making their living!! As soon as such posts appear some one like you must keep knocking them down so that the gullibles do not get dragged into a ravine. The deal WILL be official and must have been signed already although some jerk on this board may tell you otherwise.

black_box, it has been a long time some one posts an excellent summary precisely!! Yes, we should be mindful that hopeful new drugs are being developed; however, the telomerase based IMET should have its place in the oncology arena for a long time with its "sons and daughters". With cooperation from Janssen, it will be a reality much sooner. Thanks for an excellent post.

It's shocking that Yahoo treats use of word cxrxap as an unacceptable word!! Is it referring to a Chinese dictionary or what?!!!!

  • mruyog mruyog Dec 11, 2014 7:52 PM Flag

The agreement was announced weeks back!! This could not have been a loose deal. The current doubt casted by vested WS interests apparently are just a ploy by the WS crooks and manipulators who are perhaps in the game of more accumulation at the lowest possible SP. If scared investors divest, they will fall in the trap set by these crooks. I will suggest that you just grab a beer and watch an interesting game and relax, unless you're one of those agents hired by the WS crooks!!

Both you guys, biopearl and balck_box, I completely agree with you. And, how true is "a thoughtful sane voice this unseemly morass". The durability part, which truly is a real extension of "breakthrough" for IMET is ignored sadly by many. However, I do not judge success of IMET based on the bloody WS - gambling casino - response!! The current-day WS response is not a yardstick for such accomplishments. I am sleeping safely and soundly having invested fully my hard-earned savings in IMET's future rightly anticipated by the folks at Mayo and Janssen. The WS worms' dancing soon will evaporate, if not by end of 2014, it will be by next Spring. The vermin filling #$%$ on this board also will dissipate, some loosing their shirts. They do not bother me except their crowding of this board with #$%$.

Did your grandfather in hell tell you that? Buddy, the deal is already signed and announced widely!!!!

  • Those who wanted get rich using borrowed money are leaving empty handed OR is it the shorts in action in absence of buyers OR is it those greedy ones placing buy orders at low or is the hedgies/MM playing hide&seek game with weak holders? Perhaps all of that.
