If this lawsuit or houseOfhedgeye had a real case the market would have already spotted it.
The dems hold large positions in KMP/KMI and prolly Enbridge, hence no keystone b/c that would hurt a lil. via fox biz, check the article. they will approve keystone when Canada approves the transmountain expansion in the oil sands. pure politics but they're on our side. Kinder has nat gas pipe in Marcellus, Utica where the growth is & you cant find texas on their asset map bc its covered with pipe, Permian basin all set and there in Colorado,...., the now have tankers for the pipeline expansion if approved to ship to China. next up if all goes well is LNG tankers. my take is they buy GLNG.
To sum it up, they see huge growth and potiental in N.American energy and they lay good PIPE!!!
If you agree continue to add to holdings if not go apply @ House of Hedgeye and file suit that your dividends are too big!
I'm not gary but I see them as a company that sees 150 years + of nat gas in the US and also sees the 2nd largest oil field in terms of proven reserves in the tar sands trying to build a biz that charges a fee to transport it instead of having full exposure to fluctuations in commodity prices. peter pan and the lost boys over there @ house of hedgeye don't seem to think so. That is what makes a market. so while they play pocket pucks, lets make money and every time they pay our dividends starting next Tuesday, We'll all thank the mighty ducks over there starting with kevin Conway himself.
He's the one who does his job. we must be the other guys collecting his mistakes. red ink everywhere on that assignment BRAA! Calculus too hard for the house of hedgeye donkeys. I like KMI better just due to tax filing simplicity, otherwise KMP is boss!
Bout to clown on them suckers I aint talking no BOZO.
Sentiment: Strong Buy
rich kinder to House of Hedgeye
Sentiment: Strong Buy
bought El paso in Q3 2011 & Copano buy in Q4 2012.
IMHO they stole both companies. be interesting to see what they would be trading at now if they weren't bought. too bad I'm in the minority of that being bullish for kinder morgan.
snagged el paso during Europe financial debacle and copano before the 30% rally last year.
Isn't the name of the game buy low ?
with 150 years + of natural gas, pipe at all the prime shale gas fields, fleets of trucks yet to convert, UPS FDX 18 wheeler fleets, Postal trucks, school buses, trains, and the fueling station build out in early innings... jesus.
I guess when you drill for gas it jumps out of the ground knows exactly where its needed. ok the utility coal to gas switch already happened mostly but il just keep my feet up and collect the chunky dividend.
best of luck
KMI can take its time going higher in PPS for all I care. I'm not loaded and want to accumulate I just can't believe how poor the sentiment is yet somewhat thankful for the weakness. and thank you for the solid input
wasn't EP trading at like $28-$35 when they bought? so say $35 & 30% premium on the buy, they still snagged it at a 25% disc to your mid $50 call.
I get that if nat gas goes down this ETF goes up with leverage obviously.
My max loss is my initial investment correct? and anything noteworthy to consider before I consider jumping in here? a quick description or website to do the work myself is all I ask.
thanks guys & GLTA!
ok I get that, Now what is wrong with holding if nat gas gets killed day after day once were through this current uptrend. we're at $6.13/unit Nat gas currently. for instance next month down nat gas goes to $3. and say DGAZ goes to $20 and I sell. why not hold. That was just an example and if you can provide one that's more true to how this ETN works much appreciated.
