Cuts are happening within DV, basically as we speak. Getting rid of Daniel H as CEO two days ago, inserting a no-name in his spot, and now more cuts today. Would one call that a positive outlook or a weak outlook?

To those that new Hamburger, who he was and what he represented, and he is being replaced by basically an unknown, and now more cuts within the organization - it doesn't take an idiot to figure out this is going to get worse before it gets better.

Not enough media experience to realize the opportunity and importance of using social media to your advantage? No one is in charge at this company if that's the case because that is just plain stupidity. The smallest of companies can and do use social media to their advantage, and real big media companies use this to compliment their businesses. The fact that JCOM doesn't is telling (hint: and not in a good or positive way).

No one knows the facts you point out better than Yelp...why do you think they're trying to sell? Yelp says they can't hire enough sales reps and that's the reason for their slow growth. Makes no sense - this isn't technical sales, the learning curve for this position = very little.

Let's review Yelp's business model at this point: 1 star.

A lot of factors are adding up here surrounding WTW...I do believe the pressure keeping it down will come uncorked to the upside soon.

As for your assessment of Oprah and how she looked - basically, I'm right there with you...saw her picture from Valentine's Day with Stedman in the red dress. She looked great in that red dress - a red dress that spells green for longs.

daveparker - you're all talk. Let me guess, enrollment numbers are coming out and they are going to drive this up???

How about you spout some information instead of all this pump??!!!??

  • So I can buy more!!!!

Large numbers of big money have a hold of this stock, driving it wildly lower (and higher at times) on no news, information at all. What would cause this to go lower today for no good reason? That's right, the vultures...the same people who will also be mostly in charge of driving it higher. Just wait, be patient and you'll see what I am saying is true.

  • This climb will start essentially now and progress through the next two quarter’s results. Sales will happen simply because of Oprah, and if you don’t understand that then you won’t understand why you are missing out, nor much of the point of my argument. Higher sales / volume will equal increased economies of scale and higher margins will follow. The company has been measured by it’s not so great past, whereas this is a new era: Oprah brings a level of esteem and respect to the product that no other person could. There of course is always worry about the what-if’s of if Oprah doesn’t keep the weight off. Time will tell, but right now the time says Oprah is losing weight, the time says Oprah is a proven winner, and I’ve set my alarm for next year when WTW will have a hell of a lot more sales than it does this year. The time to buy is now, with the vultures, and ahead of next year’s alarm.

  • Note that this timeline of success gets stretched further and further as tweets like today come out with more proof their (new) program is working. And aside from that, smart money knows that Oprah does what all businessmen (and women, of course), all business owners and all investors all equally love and cherish: she sells product. And at a high rate, to boot. Oprah is better than gold, because gold is only one avenue to riches, where Oprah has many.

The reason why timing is everything and why the share price of this is pretty much at its low before it starts a march much higher is because of tweets just like today. More and more information will follow about news of success - be it success of Oprah’s weight loss, she is rolling out new commercials, WTW has new programs, new products and much, much more. Next quarter’s results are just around the corner, and they no doubt have at least some good news to hang their hat on: Sales almost certainly have started taking an upward turn, they can easily brag about how much websites have been visited, call centers now much busier, etc. Because, even though there’s not a lot of substance in any of those comments, don’t forget this axiom: Oprah is better than gold because she can sell, baby, sell. She’s the best, and if she’s not the best, who’s better? Literally any success Oprah has with her weight loss proves why she is the best person for the job.

  • There were a lot of vultures swarming in when it looked like WTW may crater and go bankrupt because of their crushing debt. But then Oprah came to town and that has changed everything for WTW. The share price is getting ready to go on a big run and that run is starting shortly. Here’s why:

Upon announcement of Oprah, we all witnessed how the share price had a big spike up before settling back down. So the obvious question now is what does this mean going forward? The answer is going to unfold within the next 30+ days. But before we get to the next 30 days, let’s take a brief look at how we got here. The real story is about those vultures – that’s where we started this story….those swarming vultures.

WTW got loaded up with debt. And once debt is high, and sales are sagging, things start looking good to vultures. When all this debt and a possible forthcoming bankruptcy looms on a brand that is probably the most recognizable brand in weight loss, things start looking really tasty. This stock has been getting picked apart on it’s way to below 4 in 2015. But sometimes the prey doesn’t realize the hunted has more fight, and no doubt some people got burned by way of Oprah coming to town. The price quickly bounced quite high with Oprah coming on board, but has since then settled to 18 then down to 12, then almost 11. Some people call it settled, and some people call it crashed back to earth.

And so here we are at the now….now what? Usually after a vulture gets blind-sided like this they just move on to their next biggest or best or easiest target. But not this time. This time it’s obvious that what was once the vulture’s prey, is now its friend. The smart money knows Oprah has a Midas touch, pretty much unlike any other woman (possibly) in the world. And the Midas touch makes WTW invincible until proven otherwise.

Herd, as in I heard Oprah does a good job selling the products she promotes? Oh, I know about that type of herd mentality.

You are correct in your assessment of what it takes to lose weight, but obviously for pretty much most people I've ever known it's not all that simple. People look to other people for inspiration, and Oprah is a great role-model to look toward for inspiration. Has she had troubles with her weight? Absolutely...and it is that fact that she has struggled greatly with her weight which will propel this company and this stock forward in a big way the very second there are ANY signs of success for Oprah. Oprah and success are synonymous, so I can only hope you are just being disingenuous with all of your comments, and that you don't really believe Oprah can't move this company in a much, much better direction.

All it will take for this thing to bounce up again is if Oprah makes an appearance and looks REALLY good. If she doesn't do this, the stock goes along like it has...but don't fool yourself, if she makes an appearance somewhere, and she is looking like the hot Oprah, then it's on.

Oprah is putting herself behind this product, and don't bet against her. She's a winner.

Yes, because that's what you should do: analyze the stock solely on what lead WTW to this low point, and not now that they have one of the most powerful women in the world as an owner and on their board. Don't you think that maybe, just maybe their sales will grow? And their earnings will follow suit? At this moment their app sucks, they aren't even yet implementing a health wearable device, they now have Oprah pitching the product (probably for free), millions of current users, and the most recognizable name in the industry. Those all sound very promising to me as areas to build upon. This thing will easily double in a year. Mark it!

And to think they are probably spending less on marketing in 2016 ALL THE WHILE they have one of the most recognized persons in the country and if not the world in Oprah Winfrey promoting their product.

It's elementary: s/p will go up. Debt has actually gone down as of late, sales are certainly going up in a big sort of way while being backed by one of the most successful women in history. Tis' pretty easy to see the writing on the wall....don't be fooled or concerned over the short term share price as this company and it's share price will be a winner over the long term. Oprah didn't put her name on the line to fail - am I wrong? ("no, Walter, you are not wrong")

Haters just have to wonder where Oprah's life went wrong and why they are so right. Right?

They're buying it for the great deals on flights and hotels, plus Yelp wants to write reviews from Shatner's point of view. Shatner can talk about going down on a sinking ship called "Old Yelper" ...his final flight into the vastness of space.
