I'm partial to the time he actually said I "hid" a statement in my post that was part of a thread that absolutely proven he is and was a liar.
In January 2014 he started his "cyclical buying before cyclical selling)" with a purchase at $8.79, and he has bought all through the 8s, 7s, and 6s far more shares than he recently bought in the 5s. But all you will hear for hereon in from him will be that he bought in the 5s and earns a dividend at that yield percentage. And if RAS drops into the 4s, he'll shift his brag further. All the while his true basis in his current buy cycle ("a mere 19 months") is very much above the 5s
But he's a liar and a weasel.

We are sitting ducks now.
$7.50 is now likely. $7.25 is "highly probable"."

Don't worry about dreaming.
I'm dreaming of an $11 Christmas. Cue Bing Crosby (and remember that the snow didn't arrive until New Years, at least in the movie)."
"No "dilution" (or even accretive follow on offerings) are likely at current yields.
by davisfoulger • Aug 12, 2014 1:08 PM Flag
We keep hearing our naysayers, led by mugoo, predict immediate new "dilution". I keep saying that it won't happen at these prices because RAS can get cheaper money elsewhere. That's exactly what is happening and exactly what will continue to happen so long as the current irrational price push down continues.
That said, at what point is RAS likely to do a follow on offering. I would guess that, given currently available interest rates, RAS yield will need to go to about 6.8% before RAS would seriously consider another follow on offering. Given the current dividend, that's a price of $10.50, and that price will rise as the dividend rises. At 19 cents, a 6.8% yield is $11.00. At a 20 cent dividend, a 6.8% yield is a price over $11.50. At a 21 cent dividend, a 6.8% yield is a price over $12.00.
And we are likely to see a 21 cent dividend in 4Q.
All of which is a good reason to think that $11.00 (a 7.6% yield at a 21 cent dividend), is still very possible (even likely). It's a price/yield combination that shouldn't attract a follow on offering and is above the yield being paid on REITs that haven't been raising their dividends."
All the gains since the earnings release given back and more in after-hours trading due to the weasel move of holding silent on share dilution for seven hours until after close of regular trading. Weasel management sticking it to the shareholders again.
No wonder our resident mealy-mouthed weasel loves this joke of a company's weasel management team (just like he loved Danny Cohen when in the company)!
Dilute the shares outstanding after the close of the same day you boast about penny-ante quarterly improvements. Screw the shareholders sitting fingers reach from a multi-year bottom so you can pay for your 'incentives.'
You don't know why some of us expose Foulger? Well you never listened to our WARNINGs about him and bought his siren song at $7.55.
Hopefully some people, those not here now, stopped with the double-down with the hype-meister insanity and sowed their seeds in easily safer, and far more profitable, stocks like Apple, inc. in 2013. Lord knows, we warned you!
High percentage dividend for high risk of exit at lower than non-adjusted basis it was entered.
You can tie the truth in all manner of rhetorical knots, but that's exactly how and why it trades where it trades.

My guess entry: September 15, 2015 (just for fun; not a prediction)."
The word parser has no scruples and no shame.
I'll have to try this with the ponies at Saratoga this summer. "Oh, you are under the misperception that the money I gave you along with the race, horse and place of finish was a "bet". Oh goodness no, it was just for fun. Not a bet. Now please return my money fronted to cover my expectation of a future event happening."
I am as certain as the perfect match of the photo identifying the poster of those quotes and that of a certain employee of Brooklyn College.
"Ruling class" !
Now where would a ridiculous notion that RAS dividend to share price ratio H-A-D to conform to some professor's abstraction have come from?
To paraphrase your "appreciation" of Foulger and your related tendency to place confidence in his predictions (And I dismiss any verbal construct phoney argument parsing the word 'prediction.'): "Show me a prediction based on lots of data, and I'll swallow your conclusions and defend you like my king."
'Lotsa Data' was and is used in the same way by the Soviet Five Year Economic Plannning committes. I'm sure North Koreans are constantly reminded how data-based their overseers' projections are as well.
And, no surprize, all these poor predictors with Lotsa Data need and attempt to squelch any dissent. And who on this board has spent the most time trying to get Yahoo to do his bidding? If you weren't in on the off-board secret society meeting, as I was, you missed Lotsa Keystone Cops attempts to do just that.
Americans used to think twice about the Snake Oil Peddler when he wheeled into town spewing Lotsa Data to defend his claims and projections. And some in the crowd even bought his promises. But, ya know, after puking their guts outs a time or two, they learn something about Lotsa Data and track records of failed projections.
