Thank you for your kind words - Came here for this. At this points there is nothing else I can do anyway... At least I got a little bit in the bank left so my existence is not threatened (and I am not forced to sell).
I really hope you are right and this company does not just vanish into bankrupcy ( I really am not experienced or knowledgable enough to understand the level of risk for that).
Yes I'm an idiot... played with the fire without even understanding enough of corporate finances. I just figured that oil was getting more expensinve each year and everyone was just claiming that the resource is getting sparce.
I guess everyone was wrong on this (or lied.... what do I know).
Thanks again, It makes it easier to see that at least one person on this board has some empathy and a heart in their chest instead of just mocking.... even if only by a very little margin as you can imagine ;)
It's true. My wife knows. No kids yet. I'm 34 so we probably will be fine since I'm in IT and that pays not bad. Still there doesn't go one day by on which I'm not contemplating jumping from a high building. If not for her, I would.
... How am I going to explain this to my future self who is living in a rent apartment until retiring impoverished and who had a real shot at owning a full paid for home before turning 40? ... A very big thank you to everyone on this board who advised NOT to sell when this was at $1.60 ("oh it has already a ludicrusly low valuation - you will be soooo sooooorry when it shoots up to $4). Thank you to every single one of you!
Taking financial advice from an internet message board was maybe not such a good idea.
I lost more than 120k dollars. That was 80% of my savings.
