got out at a loss back when it was below 2... got back in around 2.60 and doubled at 3.22, the other days high... it dropped and I thought oh no, there it goes again but, it surged today... I liked the conference call... thinking as china economy picks up steam so will their product and we should see substantial increase in profits... no reason we should not see a 5 or 6 times multiple as many other foreign stocks enjoy..
"Likewise, the Primesense deal may not be about copying the Kinect’s gesture- and voice-recognition features for an enhanced Apple TV product. The company’s products also include Capri, a three-dimensional capture and modeling system, Time tech reporter Harry McCracken pointed out. That could open whole new vistas for heads-up displays, 3D projections or other kinds of interfaces between data on a phone and the real world."
I like the independent view about "new vistas for huds" regarding Apple.
AT can't say anything about contracts and timetables with agreements so he decided to give shareholders a tangible message by buying $27,000.00 worth on the open market.. I'm glad he did that! I continue long.
me if half of todays trades were shorts clearing their positions... obviously someone thought the price was right... So we are about six months from the Fortune cookie being opened!! (who knows what else may come) It wlil be nice to hear/see product(s) from them. Sounds like as things have developed MVIS and the F100 have been seeking mftg needs for the products being anticipated. I think we may hear about HUD contracts by then also..
just announced today, 6th, what the giant barge building is for… seems like a flakey idea, wonder if they did not say that to get people off their backs.. it would be interesting to see the breakdown in cost on the barge to compare with square footage...
when you compare it to Google's build out of the giant floating THINGS they are building.. amazingly they can buy the silence of those who control the Coast Guard, among others... One floating facility already set sail and no one knows what it is for?????
Geo - i like the bankruptcy thing... the CEO has raised capital not debt... maybe he does not know the difference.. idiot..
Great news ppr - now that they have the true green and better operating power levels and form factor MSFT is bringing glasses as a part of their gaming, and perhaps other things.. like their pad/toshiba's pad.. this could launch MSFT into a new position of leadership in this area ahead of Apple (unless Apple is secretly doing the same; they are good at secrets)
I show less than 3 out of 20 posts because of all the irrational posters following mvis… i have some on ignore because they continually respond to the negative posters and it is illogical that over time they would continue to dialog with them given their so empty of facts and they are heavy on spinning a speculation of negativity..
Yet we supply Pioneer, we have a 4.5 million contract for developing specific products with a 100 company, we continue to conduct secret negotiations with major companies, we are the only commercial picop in the marketplace that is selling (versus strictly in development), we have continually received outstanding recognition from tech journals and reviews, we continually receive investment infusions as needed by sophisticated investors..…
I do not mind if the price continues down for the next two+ weeks so I when I get my cash freed up i will be able to purchase such cheap shares…
I get use to hearing "intend to commercialize" after so many that picopros has mentioned because it never happens, yet!! MVIS has commercialized and is selling picops to Pioneer plus a 100 company. It has taken years to "commercialize" the picop. When I see it produced then I will take notice. I watched TI commercialize and burn with their picop, and also 3M tried and died with theirs. It is a tough business to be sure.
I'm hoping for early 2014.. .. it is looking like we will not have a Christmas gadget with picop inside for 2013...
wow! how many years has it been above 1 million shares... quite a few I think.. last oct it was over 2 million..!!!
When it gets below half a million we will see allot of the idiots who post against the success of mvis quit this board... and I imagine the pressure to keep it low will fade and so the price will rise..
Beginning forty-five days after issuance, if our Common Stock is then trading at a price at or lower than the Warrant exercise price per share, a holder may, without the payment of additional consideration, exchange all or any portion of the Warrants based on a formula for a number of shares of our Common Stock equal to the negotiated Black-Scholes value as defined below divided by the closing bid price of our Common Stock as of two trading days prior to such exchange. However, in no event will the number of shares of Common Stock issued in connection with an exchange exceed the number of shares of Common Stock that would be issuable on a cash exercise of the Warrants if the portion of the Warrant being so exchanged were then exercised for cash thereunder.
The negotiated Black-Scholes value is defined as the value of an option for the number of shares equal to the portion of the Warrant being exchanged at the applicable exchange date as such value is determined calculated using the Black Scholes Option Pricing Model obtained from the "OV" function on Bloomberg utilizing (i) an underlying price per share equal to the closing sale price of the Common Stock as of the date of issuance of the Warrant, (ii) a risk-free interest rate corresponding to the U.S. Treasury rate for a period equal to the remaining term of the Warrant
as of such exchange date, (iii) a strike price equal to the exercise price in effect at the time of the applicable exchange, (iv) an expected volatility equal to 155% and (v) a deemed remaining term of the Warrant of five (5) years (regardless of the actual remaining term of the Warrant). The negotiated Black-Scholes value would only change based on changes in the risk-free interest rate corresponding to the U.S. Treasury rate for a period equal to the remaining term of the Warrants at the time of an exchange, which would not be expected to materially change the negotiated Black-Scholes value.
Upon the holder's exercise of a warrant, the Company will issue the shares of Common Stock issuable upon exercise of the Warrant within three trading days of our receipt of notice of exercise and payment of the aggregate exercise price.
AT spoke of it at the asm. It takes time to direct a company to something new, then it takes a year or so of engineering work to fab various products and configurations with their specs, then if they decide on implementing it takes time to contract mftrs and then set up a mftrs line. A year of R&D and maybe a year to end product is a guess as to time elements. This assumes there is no interruptions with financing/cash flow for their various R&D trials or for the marketing planning process. I feel sure that samsung is working with mvis picop, but the product for the Christmas market is simply hopeful.
Sony is another company with a long history of tracking mvis picop development. AT has not mentioned them much. They were very interested in the Nomad development and launch, so they have probably been tracking allot longer than samsung. As Joe has connected the dots they are partnering in green laser production!!! I believe they are already involved with blue. They will have the ability to purchase lasers from their own divisions should they contract for the picop. A very high probability.
Nokia came out several years ago with their commercial showing their possible future products and it was loaded with picop projection via phone and glasses. I do not count them out either.
This is a very good time to be in mvis with the low price and high high potential.
after AT put the Samsung officer/official to shame demonstrating the picop next his dip at the tech show, I have no doubt but that Samsung took notice and is now running with designs based on mvis picop. might see a product for Christmas!
I was able to try out the Nomad on two occasions. Each time it was impressive. I also put on two different glasses that were being developed by DLP competitors but their field of view was way to small back in the day. It was tricky to get the proper view since the projector was mounted on the bill of a baseball cap and you had to move your eyes while using a hand control for screen changes. It did not suit the needs of the mechanics! If it had been done with glasses (nearer the eye) and had been voice activated and had a blue tooth control it would have been great, plus it is now full color verses the former red and yellow view.
I want glasses. I want AR!!! That is where there is tremendous value is in this. If they can build games with helmets and pods to give people the AR effect for games at Fairs, I should think that they can put together a set of eye wear that will permit AR immersion in a form fitting fashion. Of course, I would like the see through display as well allowing people their own HUD. It would be convenient not to have look down at a cell phone while I am walking.
i have an old first gen dual core lap top from apple and the pic was fine...
you need to upgrade for sure..
it was an impressive looking portable giant TV screen view from a little tablet...
expect lots of prototypes since mvis sent out allot of sample demos for companies to use to do just that... i like it.. shows creativity in ways no one on this board has considered... this is why the naysayers are so stupid, they cannot imagine the possibilities...
