Happens all the time anymore, not just bte. Provides an opportune time to gather in a few more shares if you believe Baytex will recover.
Good for him, hope all turns out well. That Focal one unit vs Focal Treatment is a horse of a different color, similar name, different treatment.
What kind of Licensing/royalties are we talking about? $200 million initially and say $500 million upon results or more?
Just found that focal treatment can also include radiation etc. Focal HIFU therapy is another term.
fwiw I would not do any other treatment besides HIFU, first get the cancer eradicated then see what happens. Long edap for many reasons but especially because if I get PC I would like edap stock growth to pay for it.
AS Bluedog over on the pulse page puts it, can anyone more math minded tell me the odds that three separate clinical trials produce a result of 78% efficiency vs placebo? Mr. Williams calls it coincidence, I like to look at the results of 78% as monumental when it comes from a small Biotech firm with less than a $300 million market cap. Coincidence......I don't think so. I think Galena is in the groove!
Mr. Williams article is again up front with his opinion (fair enough) but he is also clearly stating Galena's possibilities that are so far remarkable. We should be happy he is writing about Galena with lots of possibilities but also with some reservations. More people who read the article will look at the positives/negatives and come to their own conclusion. Slowly but surely investors will see the light.
Politician, having read your "tale of gale" post I decided to look back to when I first purchased galena stock.
10/22/1012 @ $2.10, going forward have accumulated higher and lower and now well over 35000 shares.
Have not sold a share, I buy and hold these and consider them "family jewels". The results of the trials are as plain as black and white, no BS, no twisting of the results no data mining. The final results for Neuvax and 301 will answer once and for all whether I made a good investment or a venture into a promising but doomed experiment in trying to help women and their spouses hope for a better and cancer free life. Imagine a vaccine to prevent the reemergence of her2 breast cancer, let it be so.
you are getting picky....an if is always an "if" when one does not know for sure :-)
A 50 year old pipeline in the gulf where hurricanes are known to show up every once in a while should also be considered.
Larry, say it ain't so? All I know is it fills me up and I leave with a smile. $10.00, one of the best meals I get for that price.
