My neighbor just went thru the sonoblade radiation treatment, he had a rough time all the way thru the treatment. Now they are just watching the psa results. In other words they are not quite sure they were able to eradicate the tumor/cells.
A local Quaker and steak restaurant is packed on the weekends. They host car shows and biker shows.
this could be a good pickup at a cheap price.
Where do you get the $50,000 per dose idea? Latest I hear is $8500 per dose which is reasonable.
Bob my biggest fear (rational or not) is a reverse split (not uncommon for bio's) to get the pps up and then reissue.
Where in the world do you get the 95% effectiveness in all expressions of HER2.3+? By the way the cost of the herceptin treatment ranges from $50,000 to $60,000 for a years treatment.
Hospitals, urology clinics, Veterans administration, government health care system, insurance companies,
individuals will all be FORCED to have these HIFU units available to treat men with prostate cancer. Truly a major step forward for men and their families. Insurance coverage will be a biggie and the sooner the better.
The U.S. will adopt this treatment with open arms and edap will fly.
You think 81,000 miles of pipelines carrying the blood of manufacturing, heating, transportation will all of a sudden disappear?
A conversation I had with my urologist ( a very smart and proactive urologist of indian decent) ended with a HIFU conversation. He is aware of HIfu but feels there is not enough data to confirm a complete cancer tumor removal. He feels the Radiation treatment (sonoblade) is better at this time. Like I posted above 8 treatments in X# of weeks with the side effects does not lead me to the radiation table. I agree the doctors have to be convinced to move forward.
The big competition for the time being is the sonoblade radiation unit. A highly respected tool for treating early stage prostate cancer. Not saying anything negative about HIFU just mentioning the competition at this
stage of the game. I will point out that a neighbor of mine went thru the radiation treatment this summer, he had over 8 treatments over a period of time and the side effects were not what I would want to go through. Give me the HIFU treatment anytime personally speaking.
Sentiment: Strong Buy
besides the upped pps and reducing the float it (imo)increases the likelihood of another acquisition.
After all, they said they are on the prowl in a time of distress for other companies. Looking forward,
I don't mind the reverse split as long as they grow and prosper (who can tell here and now?).
