That is the multi-billion $$$$ question.
One of these days eyes will be opened, realization that Neu Vax is not a "pie in the sky" off the wall
cherry picked, data mined designed treatment for breast cancer and the sooner the better. That is why Mr. Blisterbubble is here, his eyes have been opened and he can see the future (sic).
OK'D with all those nasty side effects.......whoa!
FDA approval is for "ablation of prostate tissue", if the diagnosis is prostate cancer treatment I don't believe is can be used. While ablation of prostate tissue is the same thing as treating the tumor the diagnosis and treatment could be in limbo. I am all for the treatment, I am simply posting how I
see the use of HIFU allowed currently in U.S. Correct me if I am wrong but show me where the treatment is ok'd by the FDA for cancer treatment.
In the United States, Ablatherm® HIFU is indicated for the ablation of prostate tissue. Not prostate cancer.
So, the medical community can practice with unit by ablating (burning away)prostate tissue from an over enlarged prostate only. This may be a overhang on the pps.
As far as I know there are no other options available for stopping the re-occurrance of cancer, Neu vax is it (if or when approved).
The average cost of a branded cancer drug in the U.S. is around $10,000 a month, double the level a decade ago, according to data firm IMS Health. Cancer doctors say high costs are unavoidable because all of the options are pricey.
What value does one put on a drug( or vaccine) that inhibits or blocks the return of cancer?
The ablation procedure is the only procedure that HIFU can be used on in the U.S.? Not specifically for cancer? Is that how the process will work until clearance for cancer treatment?
You are shooting blanks willie with your idea that the company should comment about the downward movement of the pps. Look around the mlp universe, corr could be seen as squarely in that realm ( even though it is a reit). It is being lumped in with the mlp's, doesn't help that exxi and upl are up to their necks in debt also. Management can only live with the movement of the pps just as we do.
jslapnicka is not find 401 a viable product, wonder who will be right. Is Roth putting the price target on the 401 qualifying? No visibility for Neu Vax or 301?
No previous cancer vaccines except for provenge? If true then Galena is breaking new grounds in the fight against cancer (breast cancer so far). Is it possible that galena is the "deal breaker" holding Neu Vax and Gale 401? If these work out ( either one) truly a LOFTY valuation is deserved.
At what point does the FDA recognize the value of a vaccine? 80% effective, 50%?
Maybe they know something we don't. High expectations where the price of pm's may be heading.
