Best advice on here, market doesn't care what you are trying to prove, you need a strategy, not a feeling or emotion, deal with what is, not what you want it to be. Most of all, preserve capital.
thanks for the info about the remotes, I will check that out, didnt know they were universal remotes, thanks again
Updated automatically via WIFI, so far they have taken away Amazon Instant Video and Youtube functionality. The most irritating thing is the fact that I cannot buy a replacement remote. I purchases a third part remote on Amazon that works but is nowhere near as good as my old remote. I paid over a $1,000 for the Tivo's and they are fine but it seems TIVO is trying to make them obsolete. Oh, I have FIOS.
I own 2 TIVO Series 3 units that I purchased about 5 years ago, they have worked great and I have been happy with them but lately I see that TIVO is removing functions from them, while sending me a message that the new TIVO's would have these functions. Also, TIVO does not sell replacement remote controls for these units. Obviously, TIVO is trying to push me to buy a new unit and I am getting very #$%$ that they would take an underhanded way of doing this by removing functionality. Anyone else notice this?
Hi Petro, how have you been, nice to read your comments again, kinda gave up on this board for the past few months as the shorts have taken over, the drillers seem to be bottoming but as you said, this is gonna be volatile as evidence by NE today, hope you bought those calls back yesterday, but of course knowing this market, you will get another chance tomorrow. Good luck.
PS:NE is the only driller I have, avg cost around 22, been trading ESV but not holding it. Other than that trading tech with MU and SYNA as investors actually seem to like those stocks.
Good to hear from you Chute and Jeri, always wonder what the regulars are doing, probably just like me, waiting it out, the tide will turn eventually, it always has and most of us have been through this before, good luck to all.
what's that old saying, the market can remain irrational longer than you can remain solvent, logic tells you one thing, but the market doesn't trade on logic, at least not in the short term, I am long and I can wait this out if needed but I certainly would not be making any bets using margin at this point
