Just amazed how Yahoo is so disorganized that they have not moved the message board , they spend huge amounts of money on nerds and are not able to get simple stuff done.

Since the company is gaining no traction and these test seem to be short term why announce test / the strategy has not worked. We have been announcing test for 10 years where has it gotten the company ???? He has also made investor presentation with really nothing to say , real sales are around the corner the company says /talking about testing has been worthless / so change and announce results when they happen.

In a public company increasing shareholder value is one of the main objectives of the company and the board is charged to act in the shareholders interest ,after 15 years and ZERO results action and explanations are required.

  • Why is it that management does not get HALF PAY yes it seems they can do R&D and produce worthwhile products. But they have not produced ANY shareholder value for maybe 15 years they have proven they have ZERO interest in doing 1/2 their job. The board is a total failure.

So what you are saying is that NBC Universal Olympic picked second rate solutions for their coverage . The other companies execute better in their technology but stil Harmonic solutions are chosen. I agree mgmt has not paid us ,the owners anything (FOR YEARS) but I think they have the best technology.

I have to think that when NBC Universal is actually making Harmonic products the center of it's ultra expensive olympic coverage it has to be a good sign. It is true looking backward everything has been all talk , but at the same time the amount of research that NBC did before making this decision has to be taken as bullish.

Harmonic potential (which seems to take forever) will get lots of world wide exposure during the olympics in August read how much of an important part it has in the NBC coverage . Can management turn all this potential into earnings ( so far NO) but right now the next year will be a big part of the future. Hopefully there will be more investor interest in the company soon.

BioMar operates in an industry that has the potential to solve one of the world’s biggest problems. According to estimates from the United Nations, the global population will reach 8.1 billion as early as 2025 and 9.7 billion by 2050. This will create a food shortage situation that could have immense consequences, but aquaculture may provide a solution:
“Under ideal conditions, fish farming is the most efficient and sustainable method of food production for several reasons: because fish use almost all of their energy to grow, a huge proportion of the feed they eat is converted into food for humans. In addition, very little of a fish cannot be eaten, and fish is one of the most protein-rich and healthy foods in the human diet,” explains BioMar CEO Carlos Diaz.

I have been reading the BioMar website and also the website of the public Danish company that owns Biomar 100% I find it all very interesting in terms of potential. The stated philosophy of the company's owner is to invest and buy companies that they will never sell. We have a long way to go but together Terra Vie & Bunge seem to be moving in the right direction. Patience is the key !!!

    Sentiment: Strong Buy

Consumer interest in 4K TVs continues on the rise especially as prices drop, but UHD content is far from ubiquitous. However, sports fan with 4K just got some good news from NBCUniversal, which announced its coverage of the upcoming Olympics in Rio de Janeiro will be made available on one-day delay. Among 4K UHD offerings will be footage from the Opening and Closing Ceremonies, swimming, track and field, basketball, the men’s soccer final, and judo, as well as Rio scenics.

“The Olympics have been a consistent driver of technological advancements, and Rio will be no different,” Gary Zenkel, president, NBC Olympics, says. “The stunning backdrop of Rio combined with the world-class competition of the Olympics will give the American audience a spectacular early look at this impressive new technology.”

NBC Olympics will distribute the 4K UHD coverage provided by Olympic Broadcasting Services (OBS) and Japan’s NHK to U.S. distribution partners, who will individually choose how they will make the content available to their customers.

“Since the London Games, OBS and NHK have been working together, experimenting on the future standard of 8K. Substantial recent technological advancements have allowed us to pursue this opportunity further for the Rio Games and to offer a 4K feed for a number of sports, downconverted from the original 8K, to NBC and other interested Rights Holding Broadcasters around the globe,” Yiannis Exarchos, OBS CEO, reports.
