IMHO you should concern yourself with the potential of Encapso and that a company like Unilever incorporated SZYM oil in a 90 year old huge important brand what more confirmation do you need. !!!!!! This a long term investment not a trade.

Do you believe SZYM has a disruptive technology and do you believe all these world class partners have done their homework and think the use of incorporating this technology will help them make profits. If not ,do not invest !!! Start up plants have problems Bunge has plants all over the world new production facilities is nothing new to them . This discussion about the delay is meaning less ( unless you bet the farm) things well get going soon enough ,than in 24 months we will really begin to see the huge potential

part of a Unilever press release

    by myownstimulusplan May 6, 2014 8:59 PM

My second try to post this release.
As the world's number one soap, Lux has been delighting women with luxurious yet accessible products for almost 90 years and continues to be a contemporary beauty icon present in over 100 countries and reaching 600 million women daily. Lux's commitment to sustainability includes the recent relaunch of its body wash packaging with a new design that is expected to save 1,400 tons of plastic globally. The use of Algal Oils in this initial trial is just the first step in the brand's long-term plan of leveraging on this raw material and represents a further step that Lux is taking to look after the planet.

Unilever and Solazyme have been collaborating for five years on multiple projects, culminating in a supply agreement covering the first of Solazyme and Unilever's jointly developed tailored oils with an initial supply of at least 10,000 metric tons. The vast majority of the oil for the soap products will be produced in the new renewable oils facility in Moema, Brazil. Unilever expects to purchase the full volume within twelve to eighteen months.

Unilever is now trusting 90 years of marketing and building a huge following in the hands of Solazyme. Unilever is a marketing research powerhouse and only would do anything this big based on a amazing amount of the highest cost , highest cost research in the world. This type of marketing decision along with the other worldwide partners is the best confirmation of the potential and quality of the Solazyme oils you could ever get. All we investors have to do is trust the partners judgement as well as SZYM management and have patience. The potential of this investment is unreal but it is a start up and stocks go up and down (even more with start ups) we are relying on the research of some of the biggest most important companies in the world.

Moema commissioning delayed just a few weeks; we see no reason for concern: The delay was caused due to intermittent
power and steam supply from Bunge's new co
    -
    gen facility co
    -
located at the sugar mill in Moema. Management expects
    commissioning will
occur in Q2. The plant and upstream parts like fermentation tank are operational and downstream oil
recovery will be online in Q2. While the market will react negatively to the delay in fear of other issues, we believe the de
    lay
    is relatively minor and pa
r for course with plant startups

One thing is for sure GS is not the amateur hour. The biggest smartest investors in the world watch everything they do and try to understand their motives. There is nothing negative about the GS connection and it is a very good leading indicator. They have the access they KNOW what is going on and the potential. Buy some now and more as the future develops.

As I have said before this is a start up with huge potential. You did the homework , world class partners and leading financial institutions behind this start up. Relax buy some and as the company develops keep buying more. Buying to much to early is gambling and not investing and causes stress. Buying none is also wrong.

You are talking about a start up with worldwide ultra large partners in both production and finance. They are taking a educated risk, we are taking a much less educated risk. We are at the starting line , relax enjoy the progress. Buy some now and as things progress pay more and buy more.

Szym video still on GS home page

IMHO there is too much doubt , GS I am sure has spent plenty of time with the Moema project the fact that they seem as bullish as ever should be confirmation. You cannot bet on a race after it is over , now is the time to invest and as things are even more concrete it will be time to double up. We see expansion in cosmetics, the real announcement from UL doing a roll out of products ( just imagine their homework) . So my little investment is partially based on the research of some the worlds most important investors and retailers and manufacturers in the world. What more of a confirmation do I need !!!!!!

Are you saying you think this is a leading indicator ??? I think when you are in that position you have to balance as your investment in one company gets to be just to big a percentage of your net worth. But it in no way represents any indication of the future.
