9.47 million barrels produced in America PER DAY in July.
So what if the rig count is down..........the ones that are producing are jerkin it out of the ground at a record rate.
Don't go only by rig counts.
Well, I am no "short termer" as you say and I got in on Feb 17th and down several bucks per share.
How many years does one wait on this stock to see an appreciable rise?
Boy did I ever take the bait from the pumpers here.
Live and learn !!
Ha ha.....America going for prohibiting coal and its associates, but in the meantime trains will be literally "pouring the coal" into Seattle on its way to China where ONE new coal fired plant begins operation a week.
Have a toll bridge that all illegals must pay 50 cents to pass through to USA.
Will get one mile per year paid for.
There is a LOT of pickups on the road. If I ever purchased one...........it would be for protection as I would not want to be in a small vehicle involved with an oncoming truck.
It's like ski helmets. I hate em,but if I ever get one it will be because I want to protect my noggin from those that crash into me wearing the brain bucket.
I'd say 90% of new truck buyers never take them off road or even put anything in the bed.
Contractors, boat and trailer pullers the exception.
Don't want to scratch the inside of the bed.
Eh......what's 225 billion miles among friends?
I remember when a Ford or Chevy truck with those huge 454 Ci and 427 Ci only got 4-6 MPG and no one cared. Doubled and triple that now for mileage. When I was in HS in the 70s,I had a 57 Ford Fairlane that got 12 MPG and I was elated. For the amount of vehicles on the road and miles driven....what's 225 billion miles among friends?
Ha...........know what you mean. I would just as soon have $100 oil and my DIVERSIFIED portfolio get back the 8% I have lost in the last month than save $40 a year in gasoline.
I only use 200-250 gallons a year between a 4 x 4 and a 4 banger car so I want higher oil to lift my stocks ! Sad thing is,they talk of a glut and we don't see any glut here in the west. The gas is priced so high you would think there is a SHORTAGE and they are pricing it high to keep one AWAY from the pumps.
Nope. Didn't know 50,but I felt that it was dropping faster than my initial entry point so I waited and waited and waited.
NEVER BOUGHT ANY OF THIS.
E O M
Selling assets is never a good thing.
Tell me Tom.....if you had to sell the Lexus and take the bus to make late house payments.....is that a good thing or a bad thing?
The West Polaris was SDRL's 2nd biggest money maker.
WHEN THERE WAS MONEY TO BE MADE.
I'll tell you who went to jail over the collapse and BK of DPTR......almost ALL those directly related to the fiduciary duty of the shareholders.
They sent out VERY forward looking statements and even asserted all was fine, lied on their paper statements and all the while the executives were pocketing our money.
Good riddance and hope they rot.
