I want this stock to explode too. I'm referring to the "we can't lose" attitude that makes all of your posts seem like you're paid to do so. If I think like this, others may too.
Actually I'm a medical student and have worked in pharmacy institutions for about 8 years, so yes, I did look into this before I invested.
Myself and I'm sure some others are new to the AFFY team. I moved in on this stock when I saw it plummet sub $3 (average PPS $2.09) and thought that this was potentially a quick bounce back that was COMPLETELY oversold due to investor fear. If you are in the same position that I am, I would have to say to you hold out a little longer. I was debating selling this today and putting everything into my primary stock (ATHX), but I'm leaving my need for instant gratification on the side lines. approach this stock logically without the mindset that it will bounce back to $27/share overnight. There's money to be made here, just wait until the dust settles. This is purely my honest opinion and only applies to those whom are in the same holding as myself. I have a sell set at $8 currently.
I wonder if people will sell and take a profit before the weekend or buy more in fear of missing the current ride going in ATHX's favor. We may see some new highs come 4pm......
It peaked there yes, then went back to $1.89, I'm not saying it won't go up in spikes. I just do not trust they will stay at those levels for very long (short term).
You were wrong about this company, not everyone's right all the time. You did your thing (a lot more than anyone else on this board might I add) and I can respect that because up until today the future for this company was still in the air. But continuing this propaganda of yours just paints you the fool. But do what you have to do man.
At this point watching these bashers try to make good no, GREAT news into something negative is actually embarrassing. Personally I'd be quiet until news came out that supported my view instead of the complete opposite. But that's just me.
Sentiment: Strong Buy
I much like most of us on this board are no doubt ecstatic about some positive flow while the SP remained somewhat stagnant for a while. I foresee seeing a peak @ $1.88-$1.91 and then a sizable selling of shares for quick profit. I estimate that next week during a back to back down market the SP will bottom out at around $1.65-$1,75 and that is where to buy up again and hold for the trial news to come out and be EXACTLY what we expected it would be, more open doors and more profit.
This is my opinion and how I intend to play the next month (I did sell @ $1.85 yesterday but I am still long in this stock and waiting for a good opportunity to buy even more shares @ a solid price).
It will be a great day when we can all share in this revolutionary drugs success, good luck to all.
Set my limit to sell @ $1.85 3k shares. Will buy back in strength on a down down. I feel like today's positive motion has reached its plateau.
I am long in this stock but day trading this good news. Good luck to everyone.
This isn't the stock to put your life savings into, but with 10 years of pharmaceutical experience I can definitely say I like these odds. I said it once before and I will say it again; those of us that panic quickly to negative news will be the real losers with this stock. Good luck to everyone.
Pretty fortunate that people still think the real money here is in day trading this. Buy and hold at this low price will yield a nice return in a few months once it's able to mature.
Funny how the same clowns feel the need to post the same thing at least 10 times a day in an effort to swing uncertain investors. You have zero credibility and your own personal agenda to fill.
So glad I loaded up @ $1.09. Most definitely holding this past today, more profit to be made without a doubt. Those that are easily rattled will lose out on this stock.
During the "glass cannon" of an economy instead of people relying on solid well researched investments people in power decide it's just easier to deviate the SP to predictable highs and lows in order to increase personal revenue. In this case in particular we can see just how greedy they were to make the ENORMOUS gap fluctuate the way they did to make it obvious that something isn't right. Personally I would rather just break even at $2.15/share and have this company held under investigation for tampering with a share price to help a select few. I'm disgusted I really am. If making money dishonestly is the only way you can do it I feel sorry for you, I really do. You will never know what it's like to have integrity. I'm done with this rant, good luck to the rest.
