    no comments on today's ER?

    no response...

regardless, i liked the results, the slight increase to dividend, and the drop to PPS after the ER and bought in at 7.96$ PPS. used proceeds from closing out TNK position. seeing a better reward and lower risk.

TNK, like CPLP, in a good market sector right now. the difference, IMO, is that TNK topped off by parent company and not shareholder friendly. they confuse DD with Debt and Dilution.

    gee kosmic,

don't make it personal. just a component of investment trading. you buy and hold. that's fine. i buy and sell on dips and bounces. makes me an investor and you a saver. that's fine if that's how you want to play it. i don't begrudge you that.

now be nice and good luck to you.

read the ER today for CPLP. liked the quarterly results and the slight increase to an already generous dividend. furthermore, i liked the action after the ER as PPS dropped. i did well with TNK but agree with your synopsis and felt the risk was too high with TNK and the reward better with CPLP and subsequently sold off TNK and reinvested proceeds with CPLP. better prospect.

not bashing TNK here but the CPLP yield is terrific and the share price action prompted my buy there.

on another note, i did another play in selling another equity and put down on FB for much the same reason. good quarterly results, good ER and yet PPS dropped as investors wanted more. good enough for me....

  • happy with it? market wasn't yet results looked good in the aggregate. wonder why the negative response by the market.

    MIFI continues to plummet

    by nadsmis Jul 29, 2015 3:35 PM

you've been a member of Yahoo finance boards since June 18. apparently MIFI is your only holding as your I.D. attests to.

you've lost most of what little you had and yet you defend MIFI despite them diluting your shares, failing to communicate with shareholders, and then you losing your investment with them.

i never said eps will be worse than last year. however, i'm on record as saying MIFI PPS will continue to plummet and have said so since i liquidated at 5.17$ when i took exception to their poor guidance and not being forthcoming to shareholders. MIFI is smoke and mirrors with their inane "Internet of Things" marketing strategy and duping uninformed investors with their paid promotions on the GlobeNewswire service.

how can you possibly continue to hold a position that has plummeted over 67% in 3 months, pays no dividends, and shows no promise? wow. i guess that is a rhetorical question because i'm putting you on the ole ignore list. you are simply an angry sort as evidenced by your posts which are meaningless, without substance, and just plain nasty.

    now, go back to bed.

  • liquidated all PLOW as i wanted to jump ship prior to ER on 8-3. 2014 Q2 earnings were $.64 and 2015 Q2 won't hit that. projections are for $0.47-$0.57 and that is suspect. even if PLOW did beat analyst projections, as they have done, Janik puts a negative spin on results and drives off institutional investors. that is important as institutions own 85% of outstanding shares. Janik's loose lips sunk shareholders ships the last 2 ER's. can't chance it again despite a relatively small PLOW position of only 660 remaining shares.

my counter holding Toro (TTC) which is PLOW's largest competitor has significantly outperformed PLOW by nearly 10% YTD. PLOW's yield is about 4.8% vs. TTC yield of 1.5% but that didn't come close to making up for capital losses due to poor shareprice performance. Toro's Boss snowplows are also continuing to take market share from PLOW. PLOW has also underperformed the DJI as well.

will continue to hold TTC but keep proceeds from PLOW selling in cash as don't expect the market as a whole to begin to rebound until this fall.

good fortune to all you retail investors.

    MIFI continues to plummet

and down over another 2.10% again today (noon EST).

the heading remains appropriate, "MIFI continues to plummet".

for the life of me, i can't fathom why any "traders" or "investors" would buy or hold this equity. it's not like there is a yield behind the PPS and there no tangible catalysts on the radar screen. the share price performance is simply abysmal and the losing trend shows absolutely no indication of a reversal rather that trend continues unabated.

MIFI is all smoke and mirrors. they look to distribute more shares to provide some capital influx just to pay their costs thereby diluting shares even further.

i sincerely hope no one is fooled by the GlobeNewswire releases that MIFI pays for. those aren't news but rather self promoting paid for advertisements.

naw, i will continue to post in order to counter posts by pumpers and shills who attempt to influence innocent retail investors in order to protect their own diminishing interests.

Long-Term Sentiment remains a Strong Sell no different than it has been for nearly 2 months now.

again - Cheap stocks can always get cheaper. Last year's Q2 EPS was -.$0.33. that's horrible. expect Q2 2015 to be worse come earnings release on Aug. 6. that's when new lows will be reached and PPS should drop into the 1's. Dooms Day.

    Sentiment: Strong Sell

  • yeah, yeah. i know i will take all kinds of trash talk but important for small time retail investors to know what a sham MIFI is. they also must do their own DD and look past the incessant posting by pumpers and shills.

no, i don't short MIFI nor any other equity. i sold MIFI at 5.17 PPS and avoided a 54.35% capital loss. i hate to see good folks swayed and hurt by pumpers who look to reinforce their bad decisions. MIFI closed at $6.66 on April 26.

MIFI is losing tons of money (not to mention market share). they've cancelled their investors conference call (unheard of). check out their P/E or EPS. look at the charts....!!! they've had key employees resign. they continue to purchase silly inane press releases thru GlobeNewswire. Dividends? no way, never.

at best, MIFI is soon to be a candidate for the Pink Sheets where it will trade in the pennies. really, this equity is a possible candidate for closing its doors.

ok pumpers... You can now take the stage. talk about Shorts hurting, or MM's, or the overall US or financial climates. bottom line is that cheap stocks can always get cheaper and that's what continues to happen with MIFI day after day after day.

well, good luck to you then. since i sold the PPS has dropped 9.17%. the dividend does not begin to cover that capital loss.

your statement... "So what's not to like, except the stock action?" is ridiculous. makes you a candidate for a pyramid scheme. you put in capital, you are paid a yield and find when you go to withdraw there's nothing there.

don't give credence to underpar. whenever a shareholder posts any concerns you always have someone who labels you as a "short". very typical. they only want to hear comments that support their position or they attack and label. typical.

agreed. i dumped it all. down 13.26% since my buy at 16.18 PPS. enough is enough. IMO, FLY is smoke and mirrors. usually i don't dump unless an equity is down 15% but it is rather obvious that FLY is a POS.

    good luck....

you got that right...! however, not all FLY shareholders were wondering why. the insiders knew and sold off prior to ER. revenues down. FLY is the lagard of this sector. yield not covering capital losses.

altho i believe Cramer to be a self serving egotistical loud mouth, i can't ignore him because too many follow him and, like it or not, he can influence investors. no one in the markets can ignore price action either.

TNK is a very volatile position with a high beta. while i believe TNK to be undervalued and a Buy, i have zero influence and can only hope to stay ahead of market plays. yesterday would have been a very good day for my porfolio if not for TNK price action. i can't ignore that.

either that is old news or incorrect. GMP initiated coverage on TNK March 4th as a Buy and nothing since then. please provide us a link.

no baby steps now. 5% drop to PPS in less than a week with significant volume (selling). underperforming a bad market. altho FLY not a REIT, MLP, BDC, or utility stock - still typical of a high yield equity in a down market with Fed announcement looming. expect to see a haircut here.

talk of pending sale is gibberish.

yeah, you would think so. something definately rotten going on here. is that why Slim quit? is that why MIFI cancelled their investment conference call? when does the SEC get involved? how many more small retail investors get hurt, and how badly will they get hurt, before SEC makes their move?

it has become rather obvious that there is pumping going on, that shills are at work, and MIFI is in violation of ethics (at least). good ole Mr Market continues to pound this equity. rightfully so.

IMO, take what you have left and sell out. put the remnants of your investment to work for you in a growth stock which is experiencing a dip due to market drop. MIFI is way way beyond any semblance of a correction, profit taking, bad news scenario.

is it possible that the doors may be closing? surely something more than the market + MM's + shorting + bad news + negative cash flow + zero yield + secondary offering + -P/E is going on here. there appears to be no bottom.

now you are blaming the world economy and you state, "I expected much of this to happen"? come on now. you have blamed short selling, MM's, and now the world and the USA financial markets. the news flash is NO market and NO individual equity that I track (16 that i hold and 58 that i have closed positions) has been pounded like MIFI over the last couple months. even the worst performers(CLF) (SDRL) isn't as bad as MIFI. none.

i sincerely hope any potential future MIFI investors understand your posts are completely "pumping" perhaps even a shill at work.

Mr Market knows something is horribly wrong with MIFI and that accounts for the huge selloff which continues unabated. retail investors don't know the story, and the reasons, because MIFI refuses to communicate and even called off their own investment conference (an unheard of action).

cheap stocks can always get cheaper. too bad anyone still holding has not cashed out and continue to see losses mount. this is a good time to purchase other equities or at least have a percentage of your stock portfolio in cash.
