i realize that WEN is probably your only position but you need to consider more. WEN dividend of $0.22 produces a paltry yield of 2.52%. that does not quality as an income stock. the beatdown to the PPS is no where close to being covered by the dividend. needless to say, WEN then does not quality as a growth stock either.
i think you need to take your own advice. do your research. run the shareprice chart in comparison to the DJI. you may then reconsider your insipid post. i reiterate mine.
what you mean is you hope for MORE snow than last year and that the Toro line of BOSS snow plows doesn't continue to take market share from Douglas Dynamics. a lot of snow won't improve earnings. a ton of snow will.
he just blabs nonsense. don't bother calling him out on it as he wouldn't get it anyway. the guy is a simple moron.
well, Koss returned a profit last q. don't expect a dividend too soon but Koss is very shareholder friendly and will initiate a dividend as soon as it gets a couple more Q's under the belt. company remains controlled by the family and they will pay out when practical.
Emil Brolick is a mistake. never should have brought him on from YUM. he has destroyed wealth in WEN with taking on huge debt to buy shares in the market. that caused WEN PPS to plummet and the trend remains down. he's proven not to be shareholder friendly. no increase in dividends but an increase to debt. not good. the market is shunning WEN ever since.
yesterday he told the world WEN will not get into the breakfast program which has been wildly successful for Mc Donalds. was so successful there they are going to offer that 24/7. not Emil.
he did nothing for YUM. time to whack that guy.
you refer to CEO as Alex. he your friend? not if you are invested in MIFI. his name is Mashinsky and i bet shareholders have a lot of other names for him. "Alex" jeez.
you sure make a lot of noise after you finally sold and took your bath. now you come back to bash with nothing of substance. not only a cry baby but wet diapers too.
so what? more useless PR perpetrated by MIFI. they pay for large amounts of smoke screens with all those "news" stories. ole Mashinsky should be focusing on the business.
Just so you are aware, CFO Newman sold 29,000 shares on 9/2. altho i hold MIFI, i have zero trust in Mashinsky. he is smoke and mirrors. i hold only because the buying public of retail shareholders trust him.
august, i hold MIFI too but would never pump the baloney you pump. where do you go to copy and paste all that P.R.? i know MIFI constantly puts out releases and pays for them. are you paid for all that too?
i doubt that very much. too often shareholders blame shorts for losses and is usually just a guess or an opinion. a drop of 6.71% to PPS is a selloff and with such a huge volume of trading at a multiple of nearly 4.4x, you can attribute that to an institution(s) unloading their shares.
there was some bad news afoot and somebody knew something. that news was GSBD specific as the BDC sector didn't reflect anything close to that drop nor did the market in general. as retail individual shareholders, we are always the last to know what that driver was.
fortunately for me, other than BKCC, i closed all BDC positions a couple weeks ago as i increased my cash position.
long_2020 did nothing but pump MIFI as the PPS tumbled. he then apparently finally sold off, took his beating, and now is slamming MIFI on this message board. what a joke.
this is the time to buy in (when he sold). he will probably buy in after the run. lol.
ha ha. too funny.
gave it up huh? good. that should be a sign that PPS will rise. you invest contrary to logic. buy high, sell low? not a good strategy. lol.
i agree in principle. DIS still in oversold territory. i bought on the bad news (last earnings) and am holding thru the good news (post Star Wars earnings). the revenue being generated now for simple Star Wars rights must be staggering. i heard just today that even Johnson & Johnson coughed up a couple million just to put out Star Wars type bandages and are flooding retailers with them. going like hot cakes.
the Lucas Films purchase will payout huge. DIS my 3rd largest holding in my stock portfolio. was the yield not so small, it would have been the largest. the next 3 Q's oughta be very robust. capital gains will make me forget all about dividends.
did you see the numbers on summer movies? all time record. that was good news as well.
Sentiment: Strong Buy
i tried to explain a couple days ago but you have that disease of perception and an inability to comprehend. can't help you. go buy some more - lots of lots of it.
baloney rc. i know you quite well. you're a big bag of wind who constantly derides and tries to ridicule anyone not sharing your opinions. i particularly like the way you defended MAIN and were continuously pumping that position for months before you so ignominiously disappeared without a comment about your exit. you're a shameless pumper and poser and the readers of this board deserve to know that.
