mainman, I'm not liking the action either and have trimmed my FLY holdings by 30%. airlease2000 hit when he said PPS is wallowing. Just for fun, I also dumped 50% my AAPL holdings. Combined the FLY and AAPL capital and threw it all into Douglas Dynamics. They are the snow plow and salt spreader folks for pickup trucks. They own that industry. What with this horrible winter, all the snow, and all the new PLOW equipment I see out on the road - I jumped in. Love their yield at 5.3% and I have already realized a 21% capital gain to PPS over last few months. Broke my diversification rule of 12% max as I now have 19% on PLOW. Their next earnings report is due March 10. I believe that will blow analysts away and June's earnings will be stellar as well. These guys had an IPO a couple years ago and have already raised the dividend once.
I know an employee of theirs in Milwaukee, WI - their primary manufacturing facility. Their parking lot is full, both shifts maxed out at capacity and liberal amounts of overtime being employeed. They bought a smaller plow manufacturer last year and none of their production facilities is able to keep up.
I am all in on PLOW and don't intend to go any further with them. I have appreciated the intelligent postings from both you guys and, altho I know you have a sweet tooth for this jet leasing industry, just thought you may still be interested.
While I am running off at the keyboard here, GNRC Generac is another holding that I play the in and out game. Generac also cannot keep up with demand for portable and standby generator units. They are also best in class / market leaders. This weather, going back to Sandy, has pushed them hard. GNRC also went public about 3 years ago. Their special dividends done around Christmas time equated to over $5/share. I have been in and out of them 3 times on dips and valleys. Wish i would have just kept letting it all ride there.
Good luck fellas and, if you do your DD and buy in... GLA
Hey steverino. Don't give up. Would help if you were a minority tho. You gotta come across as a pro-feminist and tell her how bright she is. That usually does it. Doesn't take too much. I saw what there was to see. Unfortunately, she is tough to shake off. Be prepared.
You are above looking for a relationship on Yahoo Finance? LOL. She is not only a liar but a phony. Enjoy this post from her... One of many like it.

Tom, I really really love and respect the way you stood up for me. I think we got off on the wrong foot. I know you don't want to email me now, but just hear me out. We corresponded before, and I know we're so right for each other in so many ways. You did say you found me "xtremely attractive." Just wait to you see the real thing! Tom, we have too much in common, have been through too much together to just let this opportunity pass.
Please let me please you the way no woman ever has, Please.
Tommy Chop Chop gave you the ole heave ho. how funny that is but yet how sad you are....
Oh boy. Good for you. You got an email. lol. The guy, if he's a guy has to be very hard up.
No one came to your defense either. You sad sack.
Geez, find a motel or another type web site. This isn't the place.
davenport, do you recall her pompous post on opportunity costs? Since that post PPS has risen 20.2% while dividends continues at close to 5%. As usual, she is all mouth and no brains. Here is a copy and paste of her posting then (about the time she was pursuing Tommy Chop Chop).
Gee, is it time to thank her yet? lol.

What are these? Do they matter to long-term investors? Why yes they do, and thanks for reading this informative post about this important subject. Let's talk about the opportunity costs associated with owning BP over the last 2 years. While BP has traded lower due to the overhang of the titanic-sized liabilities from the Macondo disaster, you have watched other oil company stocks rise. Conoco, Exxon, the list goes on. And you have lost money, that most precious resource...the only thing you have to make your nest egg grow.
But what about that "hefty 5% dividend" you ask. Well, I'm glad you did, because I want to address that, too. Even with the 5% divi, you are still losing out to the other stocks that have traded up more than 5% a year AND ALSO HAVE NICE DIVI'S!!
Let's face it, the math is simple. Even if you think this oil spill is overblown, it doesn't matter, THE LOST OPPORTUNITY COSTS ARE KILLING YOUR PORTFOLIO, AND RUINING YOUR FUTURE!!
Think about that and make the right decision. You'll be glad you did, and you can thank me later.
Thanks for reading, and have a wonderful day. Less
Sentiment: Strong Sell
Copy and paste that post. There is none. Put up or shut up.
Your deceptions worsen. Your smear campaign is laughable.
Another good day for BP in a down market. You hate that... lol.
Also, I am not responsible for other pseudonyms. However, I am sure wintoat and vikki would appreciate your message. I won't know because I have them on ignore. Just like you are now. Can't stand your long winded, pontificating, and pompous posts. You don't impress me....
oh geez. Vikki never ceases to amaze me. I knew she was a lonely hardup old spinster but, once again, she out does herself. What a total loser. Total. Beyond pitiful.
In the meantime BP flourishes. Outperforming the DJI and oil majors as a whole. Yield continues. P/E still indicating BP is oversold. Institutional buying now picking up.
For investors, BP is a great place to grow wealth. For losers, you gotta just hate it. Hence the name, Vikkihater.
Rock on BP............! Looking forward to my next distribution coming soon....
I am smiling a lot these days.
Sentiment: Strong Buy
I am taking the advice of some fellow posters and putting you both on ignore. I find your messages disturb my serenity. They are, like you two, negative and ignorant. Before I put you on ignore...
Oh, never mind. Not worth it and beneath me.
Sure do love how BP has performed for me since I jumped in post spill. Loving every dollar of it.
Sentiment: Strong Buy
Vikki, Vikki. Here you do again. Another personal attack. I also can't help but see a preponderance of negative votes to your post. Where are the 5 you speak of?
Before I put you on ignore... Never mind. You aren't worth.
