They have to make an issue out of it because of the situation in the community and the fact that it was a shooting death of an unarmed black youth by a single policeman at a distance.
The way I see it the "kid" would have likely been shot by somebody else black or white sooner or later due to his size and behavior.
Can't send Holder to investigate ISIS beheadings because they would behead him.
Besides, much more satisfying and self serving to keep the whites off of the freed slaves. After all we have the civil rights act of 1964 and other laws protecting the freed slaves from the abuses of white people.
We went through this type of thing in the 60's only on a bigger scale. Yet it lingers on with the black issue of being unjustly profiled and treated differently than "others" mainly whites. It is the lingering problem with "whites" that seems to fester in the black communities. The only way for it to really stop is to be honest about the reason for it and fix it or at least recognize that it may never be fixed. You see examples of white communities not wanting blacks so it goes both ways. Total segregation may be the answer in the worst areas.
I think it has a lot to do with economic conditions and that includes all races. The poorer the community the more crime, drugs, anti-establishment attitude, unhappy people with axes to grind and trouble to start. With the blacks it seems to be normal for white people to be blamed, and of course it goes all the way back to slave days. They won't let it go. You see black caucus politicians referring to themselves as freed slaves.
How can we change if our own leaders won't let it go? I say let it go or do something serious about it and get it over with.
and how is it that you can make the statement that I don't own any BMY? Show us the proof of this and you can save yourself from being a lying trouble maker.
So now that you know that you can't, and that nobody can because I DO OWN shares in BMY you can proudly display yourself as liar and troublemaker in chief for the looney tune crowd.
Now you know what it means. Who wants to live and to put up with the racial stuff these people carry with them every day. Not just whites anymore but others as well defending their businesses from the black attack.
whatever it is it better be good or mnkd will qualify for pos company honors and the stock could become the $2 short sellers dream.
L's are against paying for a standardized policy that covers birth control and maternity stuff that hey will never need (sound familiar?). Democrats response is that oh well, we all have to chip in to make it work for everybody. One L has calculated it will be less expensive to be penalized and go on her own.
where do you get the number 2 billion. Is it the 2.5 bil nol tax loss forward allowed mnkd for the next 20 years or until used up. There is no 2 bil out there as a cogs debt. For one thing mankd has not and did not sell anything nor has it a standing inventory of afrezza cooling in the warehouse.
The 2.5 bill tax loss cary forward is for Net Operating Loss, not cost of goods sold.
"""You don't get it. He is only being sued because he is black""""
Poor Sambo. He and Holder need to write some law to stop this.
There are ways to bash almost anything. Just take a contrary view. Deals of all kinds are made with many different arrangements. You could almost look at this deal as a license and royalty deal with material sales included. If mnkd would have accepted a large flat regular fee amount instead of a 35% profit you could bash it by saying any increase in profits are missed. You can also say 35% profit is too low and sales will not be good enough to amount to anything. If you want to bash potential afrezza sales then 35-40-45 % profits won't be that significant in the overall success of the deal.
If you expected some sort of huge windfall of money pouring down on mnkd then you are also guilty of unrealistic expectations. They will have 2.5 billion of tax losses to write off (no taxes to pay) for the foreseeable future so it is 35% tax free. Time for MannKInd to get busy making money.
