DuPont (DD) declared that it will raise prices for all of its titanium dioxide (TiO2) products sold in North America, Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Latin America and the Asia Pacific regions. The price hike will be effective from Jul 1, 2013, or as contracts permit.
DuPont said that price for its Ti-Pure titanium dioxide (TiO2) grades sold in the Asia Pacific and Latin America regions will be $200 per metric ton. Also, $200 per metric ton or €160 per metric ton will be charged for DuPont Ti-Pure TiO2 grades sold in the dollar markets and Eurozone markets in Europe, Middle East and Africa region, respectively. -

The below increases are effective June 1, 2013, or as contracts allow:
Latin America: minimum USD $175 per metric ton

Japan: minimum JPY ¥22 per kilo
Australia: minimum AUD $175 per metric ton
Europe/Middle East/Africa: minimum EUR €125 per metric ton or USD $175 per metric ton in US Dollar markets

Japan and South Korea suspended some imports of American wheat, and the European Union urged its 27 nations to increase testing, after the United States government disclosed this week that a strain of genetically engineered wheat that was never approved for sale was found growing in an Oregon field. -

He showed The Sunday Times contracts, invoices and correspondence between Google and its customers in Britain. One 2004 contract had the address of Google’s London headquarters next to the heading. Clients would be sold deals by Google staff in London, who were in charge of sending out contracts and receiving signed documents back from clients. In addition, British clients paid money into British bank accounts for Google services. -
