    Management "throwing in the towel"

"" if your stupid enough to still be short this stock. ""

amedaus, your company is burning cash. The modest recovery in precious metal prices isn't going to help much. But by all means, buy more GORO as the price goes up. It's what you always do. Oh wait, you don't have any money left after you went broke due to your GORO margin calls, and I doubt you've had any time to save much from your new middle school glee club director job. Oh well.

Meanwhile, stocks go up and stocks go down as this company continues to bleed cash. The handwriting is on the wall. Not that it matters much since I continuously covered my short position from the high 20's as the stock fell. (Remember back when you said that it would be impossible for shorts to cover without driving the stock price up. I guess that was just another one of the dozens of things you were wrong about, right? Seriously, how did the shares short number fall from 5 million to 1.55 million as the stock plummeted? Have you figured that out yet?) What's now left of my meager short position can't move the needle on my large fund.

Actually, if you can keep pumping this stock price up to bubble prices like the good ol' days, then I can establish another good short position. Then we can really have fun on here, amedaus. Sadly, right now, this message board consists of 3x more spam that actual posts about GORO.

FY 15 Financials - Initial thoughts

    """ Available cash is 12.822 """

What a pathetic cash balance for a company that has been burning through cash for years. Remember back when the company claimed that it was only paying dividends out of "profits" until it turned out that their "profits" were really just gross margins.

Wouldn't it be fun if GORO was forced to do a PIPE in 2016? Heck, maybe they're stupid enough to establish an equity line of credit.

    2016 Production Outlook…….yikes

"" you own a $2 stock whose CEO just informed the world production will drop 20% this year after a drop of 25% in '15 and 20% in '14. ""

Was this one of the announcements that the shorts (most of whom shorted in the 20s) were supposed to be afraid of??? I'm so glad amedaus is back to provide this level of entertainment.

"" 50k ounces in '16 is horrendous…….and they'll be lucky to hit that given the awful grade, bare bones workforce and a consistent history of big misses. ""

I think you're right about this, IPDaily. The grades really are terrible. They'd be doing bad even if gold prices had never been crushed.

amedaus, you hate facts. The facts are my returns are awesome. My AUM is awesome. You insisted on putting all your eggs into the GORO and MXSG basket and got completely wiped out.

amedaus, you are hilarious. You're a coward that disappeared from this board and returned with different aliases over the past few years. You've only returned now as amedaus because you think you called a bottom. I'm so happy that you're back posting as amedaus since you can't hide your shame anymore.

    "" Can't speak for yourself. ""

Ha ha ha ha ha. Unlike you, amedaus, I ALWAYS speak for myself. Quoting someone else that humiliates you isn't allowing others to speak for me. Don't you understand the english language?

"" Do you even know that you are so lost that you are not addressing the same individuals? ""

You most certainly are all of them, amedaus, but even if you're not - that would mean that you were too cowardly to post on here for years.

My returns are awesome, amedaus - unlike you that lost everything in MXSG and GORO because you refused to use basic portfolio theory.

"" I am arranging a group to get together ""

As IPDaily likes to say, this is your primary purpose, amedaus. Why aren't you responding to me calling you a coward? You either disappeared from this board for YEARS, or you were posting under a fake name. You can't deny that one of these statements is true. Explain your cowardness, amedaus.

Yes, I'm back to reading this board regularly now that you're back to providing entertaining posts. When nobody good is commenting, then I hardly read this board.

amedaus, I told you a long time ago. I will still be on the board long after you're gone. When you got crushed by the stock, you were too big of a coward to comment under your own name. That was pathetic.

You also disappeared while this stock was down over the past few weeks - which is typical for you. During that time, I hardly checked the board. Now that the stock is up and you're on here nonstop, I will be reading you regularly as pure entertainment.

Again, I'm doing great. My track record is great (and AUM is continuing to grow) - unlike you who lost everything in your concentrated GORO and MXSG positions. I tried to teach you portfolio theory, but you rejected all my expertise - that's why you failed so miserably.

One thing that you can't deny. You either disappeared from this board for years, or you were commenting under a different name. Both are pathetic, amedaus.

It's almost like you try to lose arguments, amedaus/goldbooger. Tell us again how all special dividends are tax free. Tell us again how a naked short has less buy-in risk than a short with borrow.

Ha ha! amedaus returns to his worship of Warren Buffett - just like he did as goldbooger. He can't help himself - regardless of who he's trying to be. This is so much fun.

  • natasha51lex by natasha51lex Feb 27, 2016 11:27 AM Flag

goldbooger called amadeus an idiot. Therefore, amedaus called himself an idiot just to pretend that he wasn't goldbooger.

amedaus, you have converted this board from a once-per-week check into everyday entertainment. Thanks!

How are you enjoying your new high school glee club teaching job?

Ha ha! amedaus, was it hard to deny that you were amedaus when you were commenting on here as goldbooger? In fact, I think goldbooger even called you a loser. That means you were calling yourself a loser. That's really funny.

"" talking about how she no longer reads this board because of all the "referrals" she has to deal with ""

amedaus, I said that I really don't read this board anymore, and I don't. There's hardly any reason to since nobody really comments anymore. Checking in every couple of weeks to see if amedaus said anything stupid isn't really reading a board.

    "" I believe he's said he hasn't sold ""

There's zero chance that amedaus didn't get hit with margin calls that wiped him out completely. I'm quite sure that amadeaus lost everything. He only ever talked about 2 positions, and he repeatedly told us that he hated to spread his exposure around. He told us that he LIKED to concentration his exposure by taking huge bets in one company. GORO was that company. MXSG was the only other company that he ever bothered to shill for.

I think IPdaily is right. amedaus was forced to get some type of job. Maybe he teaches the glee club at a local high school. He's probably been able to scrape together enough money to buy a couple hundred shares of GORO. Now he's trying to undo the humiliation by calling a bottom. It's so much fun to have him back as amadeaus. I really didn't like having to call him goldbooger and the other name - and it was hilarious how he denied being those names.

"" Let's let amadeus have his moment. GORO has risen from a low of 1.26 to just under $2. If you bought at the absolute low, you're sitting on a very nice gain. I calculate 38% ""

Ha ha! amedaus rode the stock down from $30+ where he continued to buy on margin. A bounce back up to $2 doesn't do anything for him.

Poor amedaus. I hadn't even looked at this board in a week. When I did, I only had time last night to tease him about mustard. My portfolio is incredible and very well liked by investors. amedaus, you don't even believe in using the most basic portfolio theory. You put all your eggs into one basket, and you got crushed.

"" Are you referring to something more specific than general disappointing performance? ""

Of course I am. I'm referring to GORO's management historical difficulty being open and honest with shareholders. A few examples:

GORO management deliberately led shareholders to believe that their Gross Margin was actually Cash Flow.

GORO management refused to provide shareholders with an honest assessment of operations during one of their annual meetings. Shareholders found out a few weeks later that production had been on track to miss guidance by a large amount.

GORO management was counting base metals in their production numbers while simultaneously boasting
about low costs - which were deferred by base metal sales - THUS double counting base metals in statements to shareholders.

GORO management claimed to have a backlog of Canadian investors ready to buy the stock as soon as they listed on a Canadian exchange, but suddenly changed their claim that they couldn't list on a Canadian exchange without doing an equity offering - which isn't at all true.

I'll let others that have been following this stock for a long time to add others if they want.
