Yes, I was stopped out today. I can't afford to spend any more time waiting for this to turn around. It may never happen. It traded almost 1MM shares today. That is a lot of retail and institutional owners. 8 years is long enough. Good luck to all...I will keep hope alive that you all will be see better times.

Agree. This thing is going to get much worse before it gets better. The contracts are a bigger problem than we were led to believe. Everyone should sell and take th loss. You are at serious risk of having more than just dead money.

Well, there they are. I was surprised that they were able to lower debt by another $6M. I would have liked to have had a little bit of info about new contracts. A few of the older clients appear to be reducing the volume of their orders. Let the healing and growth begin!

Beanie....This board is officially dead. We will see some selling on what we know is bad news in the rear view mirror. Hard to know how much. We have pretty strong support on low volume here, so your guess. We can only hope as always that the new CEO will throw in a piece of good news to give us hope he is making progress. Red Oak has bet on it...as it is still the biggest looser.

Plenty of cheap shares(again!) at this level. If you wnt 20K immediately, then the price shoots up $.20. 500 to 1000 at a time and you can buy all day long. Good luck with that 110th correction.

Seems like it has given everything back. I am still puzzled by the breakout. In terms of volume and pps, we have retraced and are just about to test the old support. Shame on SMTX's BOD and lack of governance.

It seems like we are being broadsided again on the market uncertainty, just when SMTX tries to rebuild confidence in the Mexico facility and the new management team. Or, maybe, it is just the uncertainty of SMTX in general. We had 550K shares traded peaking at $2.52 for the intraday high, only now to give most of that volume and price support back, struggling to maintain $2.15. I still think this is a buy...but I am not as confident that the nice buying interest a couple of weeks ago said anything about the 6 month outlook.

Looks like the flippers are taking over, again! We could make the usual argument about consolidation after a gain...but due to the initial correction over the invenyory and reearnings statement, it seems like we should have held our gain from friday. Oh well, another day in the world of SMTX. Maybe there is something happening to warrant the volume that has yet to reveal itself. Good luck to all.

Any thoughts from anyone where we open tomorrow? I thought $2.50 would hold after it blew past the resistance on big volume. Hoping to see $3 if this buying volume continues...Cheers~

Jeez Con...when you jump in, you jump in! Nice volume today. Still a little sideways trading or the 200K shares on the buy side would have sent this thing above $2.50. I stuck my neck out yesterday and picked up some more at $2.23. Lets hope this is the start of a "value" move. It will be a solid buy when it blows past the resistance at $2.50. Cheers~

Con...who have a good sense of humor about this. I may come across as bitter, but I have not thrown in the loss towel. I added shares a couple of times in the last few months, so I am still bullish that thnigs can turn around. I thought the new CEO was a solid hire. I didn't like that he was initiated with some bad players/proceedures in Mexico. As volume goes up, I will continue to pick off a few shares when people are giving them away. Good luck to us all.

Jump in because there is little buying interest at this time. Delayed earnings(suspect but can't prove) may give you a btter deal, if not, at least more volume. It has been said on many occasions that this company has a good pedigree and has shown a lot of upside on paper, but looses its jockey or crashes going around the track. It is a $5 stock when it is washed, waxed, and standing at a distance. Tough to notice in the picture, but it only has 3 legs. Good luck with your position.

Hung an all or nothing offer out at $2.18 for 5000 shares all day and couldn't get a bite. Tough trade to gain $50. Enough for a dozen oysters and 250ml of Pappy's reserve.

The quiet game of accumulation appears to have started again. Perhaps we can regain back a little bit of the momo and stop the hemoraging. Tony asked a good question about valuation and pps. Regardless, I think we will see some gains here. The earnings call should be interesting. Hopefully, the market will be looking forward....not past. There goes Elvis!

Beta covered the main reasons. Conoco would be another suitor. close proximity in North Sea, Australia, deep water gulf, Permian. No overlap in the Central and Egypt. As much as I want Senior management replaced, the Sinopec deal makes more sense for Farris to retain control.

Now that the Argentinian overhang/liability is on the way out, the books look pretty good to a number of company's. It would be nice for someone to ask this question at the Investors conference or stock holders meeting. The board has something on the table. Steve is the last of the old guard.

100K and we are at break even for the day? I would say that this is a very bearish sign. I wouldn't hold on to this knife until it hits the ground. Mexico in a mess...and the CEO hasn't bought any stock to show he shares our expectations that things are going to get better.

Trying to steal a few more shares here, but the MM is working around it again. Picked up a few sub $2.15 after the news when the retail crowd was dumping. It was a lot easier then.

I think he/she may be refering to the turnover at the Mexico fabrication facility that all the inventory issues there that were flagged. Mismanagement at best. Criminal at worse. The new CEO seems to be the guy left standing to handle it, even though it occured under the previous managements watch. we will be ok...its just that facility is the flagship for several of the contrcats, so it needs to stand tall. Time will tell.
