Selling would be risky because the pops seem to be much much larger than the dips. You may just get left behind selling too early on a pop and the dip won't go below where you sold.
I am severely regretting hedging my position by selling January 12.00 covered calls... Although we'll see, it just has to drop below 12.45 before earnings for me to break even and that is certainly possible given the volatility we have seen.
Just a public service announcement. He has 2 account he switches between with identical viewpoints so it doesn't look like he's the only one who believes his terrible analysis.
Just a public service announcement. He has 2 accounts so it appears like he's not the only one spouting his #$%$ analysis(the analysis is always identical).
Poor swisslakes, he spent years pumping when the company was doing terribly and sold out right before the recovery. Now he's dumping the stock hoping to get back in. Clearly he overestimates the effect he has on the markets.
Forward P/E means essentially nothing when the analyst estimates are wrong (as the last ones were).
Yeah its funny he was this stock's biggest fan when it was crashing and burning and now that he sold he's bashing it when its doing well.
He was claiming tablet accessories were the best thing since sliced bread until this post.
So.... a year with negative earnings is no reason to plummet and a surprise upside earnings report is no reason to go back up? Sounds like pretty damn good reasons to me.
Any release near the end of the quarter would have no effect on the current quarter because it wouldn't have time to make money yet... unless you are talking about next quarter? They stated in their prepared remarks that they held off on new tablet products until the IPad air release.
Sorry you made a bad move selling out on the 18th swisslakes, but good luck trying to bring down the price to buy back in with an across the board surprise upside report for EPS, Revenue, and upgraded outlook for the year.
Pretty sure earnings report trumps unjustifiably bearish yahoo messageboard posts...
