I spoke with Mr. Pinto at CMG investor relations dept on Friday. In a couple of weeks ETAK will be hosting their conference call on Q2 results and hopefully we will get some news on the upcoming outlook for the rest of the year. He is aware of all the failures and lack of transparency that the company has shown in the past. Everyone is aware of the lack of revenue and lack of new contracts but he is hopeful that they are changing and we start to see some good things happening. My feeling on all of this is of uncertainty and will only change if the contracts and revenue increase. For all of us, the sooner the better. I am not the technical guru like some of you but I do know the task to get this stock away from its low price is not going to be easy and will take some news of a major contract with a big tier company.

It's really not meaningless to me since I have lost on paper many thousands of dollars and the bleeding still continues. I am confident at some point next week this will start to turn around, the waiting is torturous and a test of pain tolerance.

  • i am in this group of investors but the truth is the volume is enemic and is meaningless in terms of the whole picture of the stock. We can only hope the stock rebounds after they make some new business deals. It will happen, and all the negative stuff is still holding the stock down.

It was higher volume today than most with a lot more volume, but still low for the amount of shares outstanding. The analysis of today's action is confusing and I am waiting to see how the stock goes in a few days. I think someone wanted out of their position and someone was grabbing all they could get at these prices.I

I believe the company is finally making the right decisions based on their current financial, personnel, and future expectations for both ETAK and Validsoft. We all know, that Vander Velden is not going away without someone of equal financial stake to make him an offer he cannot refuse. I liked Gersten, but he was the horse and not the boss and he was always there good or bad and that is a great quality. If nothing else was Learned by management it just goes to show how one must always be humble and not let their ego get in the way. The truth is hard to digest but Elephant Talk is and was a micro cap company with limited funds and mistakes have been made repeatedly. With all this being said, Validsoft is the key to this puzzle and for me, the October conference is going to be a deciding factor. We have all the top technology companies in attendance and if they are noticed by just one company it will be big. I am hanging on and looking forward to the future of better times and if you look at the endemic volume everyday, there is no one of importance giving up their shares.

I have spoken with him on Monday and he was nice enough to speak with. Mr. Pinto said that management is aware of the fact they need more ot all the things that are talked about on this message board and they will address them. I mentioned Mr. Gersten several times and he would never answer me and always elude to something else. This is truly a waiting game and we just have to see what comes out from management.

    Sentiment: Hold

  • It is unfortunate that a person like Mr. Gersten will be gone but I hope this is just a fight over some money or ego thing by Mr. Vander Villain. He is the one that should go but he is the one with all the money and in business that is everything. I only hope that we can get rolling and Mr Gersten who I love and has been as upbeat, symphateic to investors, easy to talk to and has gotten all the brunt of the problems that the CEO has braught upon us, will be dearly missed. I can't think of Elephant Talk without him as the investor relations guy.

    Sentiment: Hold

  • This is my opinion only but if you think about it, this makes total sense from all the points needed to make for a good CEO. He would have the honeymoon already and knows VOD and ETAK for a long enough time. He has all the tools needed and wall street will be happy.

    Major insider transaction

I believe the investors at QAT are ready as fed up with Vander Velden as the retail investors are and even though they shot themselves in the foot and got a flesh wound it just might be their way of saying it's time to get this thing turned around. We can't forget, they could have also invested their millions in other companies also and had a lot better return on the money. This could be a wake up call and maybe we go up from here.

The settlement is done and now we are going to get the financing from the bank. I am not a fan of Mr. VanderVelden, but it has to be very tough being a CEO of a micro cap company in a field with so many heavy weights with tons of money behind them. Elephant Talk is and has always been a company with great technology, leading professionals in the field but I believe has not had the fortune of luck and always seems to get bogged down with unforseen problems. I am glad that we are still ahead of the curve and the market is finally catching up to the technology that Validsoft and Elephant Talk have been trying to market to the big boys. We are moving slow but this time, we are not going to take any steps backwards. I am anxious about the conference that Validsoft was invited to in October, this I believe is the break we need with this part of the company. If there technology is as good as I think, the deals will be coming in faster than you can say Jack Robinson.

  • Everyday I look at this message board in hopes of finding some clue as to what ETAK and its illustrious management team has done or maybe some news worthy event happened that I might have missed. I have not, but I see over and over the same guys rehashing past events in hope that we will see something new. Unfortunately for us there is nothing new except hope that the share price will go back up and we will see some top line growth that we all were promised by management year after year. I can only hope as an investor that Mr. VanderVelden is putting as much effort into this and this message board has put in. If management works as hard as us we might see some money come our way. Here's hoping things get turned around soooooooooooon.

I am a long time holder of ETAK and have lived through all the ups and downs. Initially, I thought the fact that the ceo has put up his own money once again to save the day was a good thing but I have mixed feelings now. I am happy that he is confident in the company getting past this but this could mean there was a low ball settlement offer, no offer, a delay like everything else in corporate America or fear the lloan agreement is in jeopardy of being called. I for one would love to finally see the company finally not have to deal with all this #$%$ and get on with its business plan. Once this happens, we will get to the promised land and not look back.

  • The more I talk to people involved in the telecommunications industry and technology, the realization is ETAK is still way ahead of the rollout and acceptance of today's market. The industry has not caught with ETAK yet, even though it seems so long for us to get some traction in the marketplace. Unfortunately, the big players take a very long time to get moving and requires so much legislative and signing off, that we have suffered. It looks like Validsoft has slightly turned the corner and can help the bottom line. I just get the feeling once we settle with AT&T and that is behind us investors and contracts will start to come in. The company needs a few good things to happen and the law of averages is going to work in our advantage.

The selling is not indicative of the company going out of business or the fact that AT&T is still negotiating with ETAK. This is just the overhang of our situation that has not gone away yet, but it will soon. If this were a major selloff from AT&T and we were going out of business the stock would be doing millions of shares not the amount that is being traded today. The company is owned by mainly insiders and the rest is retail investors which are not privy to what is truly going on with the company. I am afraid of how my value of the stock has gone down but logically the volume is still way tooooooo low to be a deciding factor in selling. I think you still have to hold onto your shares till we get a decision and some news on the status of AT&T and Verizon. It just doesn"t add up to a selloff yet.

    Sentiment: Hold

  • I read today that AT&T is aggressively going after the market in Mexico and is planning to spend a lot more money into turning AT&T into a top company competing for the Mexican market. The CEO, Mr. Arroyo said since they took over Lusacell's business in March, the total amount of customers is about 6.2 million subscribers. I would think that since ETAK has 1.2 million sims being used that might be considered a substantial amount when you consider this is a high percentage of the total. I am thinking ETAK is in a good spot to negotiate a good settlement and possibly still be in the mix for the future. We all know negotiations are not for the weak and is very nervous times for the smaller opponent. My prediction is next week Tuesday, good or bad we hear from management on how we stand on the settlement with AT&T.

The only thing at this point on anyone's mind should be the AT&T settlement. The rest will fall into place after this debacle of pitfalls is behind us. I only hope it comes sooner than later. That is the bottom line.

  • I read on thursday, that AT&T is expected to take as much as up to ten years to get Mexico's operation to a profitable part of their business. I hope they settle with ETAK as soon as possible and wish them good luck in their plans. It is hopeful that we get a fair settlement.i
