how to get all those platforms to work in a vertical integrated efficient scalable secure operation and provide cuc and enterprise visability command and control? bueller? it would be a job for superman/woman/machine or combination thereof?
so was hp services which is in deal with ge healthcare competing with csc and their hp global alliance? looks like the world order has been jiggered a bit...yes, hp was likely competing against itself.....now hpe can be resold by csc with ge imaging and pivotal ip......ge and msft caradigm stuff. how did all these players miss hit the 'epic' thing? but csc is going to have to offer ip/services which will allow the integration of former competitors in a 'best' of breed bakeoff.......8x8 knows about the bakeoff, seems they are getting their new enterprise customers with such tests. also, such a bakeoff selection would seem to go a ways in satisfying the eu on fair competition in deals/product selection. wag....
BARRINGTON, IL., March 9, 2016 — GE Healthcare (NYSE: GE) today announced the appointment of Charles Koontz as president and CEO of GE Healthcare IT and GE Healthcare Chief Digital Officer, effective March 14. Koontz succeeds Jan De Witte, who is leaving GE.
Koontz joins GE from Computer Sciences Corp (CSC) and CSRA, where he was Executive Vice President of the Federal Civilian Agencies Group. As VP and General Manager of the Healthcare group at CSC, Charles focused on transitioning healthcare clients to next generation IT, mobile and cloud technology, and applying real-time analytics to measure clinical and performance outcomes.
Prior to this, Charles led the health practice at Booz Hamilton, where he built a health analytics business working with Fortune 500 healthcare companies and government organizations. His 30-year tenure in technology innovation also includes leadership roles with SAIC, Capgemini and Ernst & Young. He holds a bachelor of science degree in engineering from The Ohio State University
