With their 22% reduction today - you'll have their best rank & file leery - ready to check it to them when the opp is available. With the assumption of new work - no other way to color it under this exec team. The mgmt argument that people will be happy to have a job might have worked in the past - the younger generation is smarter than that now. Reckon the BOD and execs will learn they're not the smartest in the room - similar to their recent debt replacement failure - and the new $40 hedging. Too funny that they mention Noble ex's as a great asset.
Don't think these guys fit into that category since Gareth left....it's more like keep current exec's pay going and see if they can hold on. This would be a cheap one for the Chinese to add to their list.
Void on being a company employees will now be proud to work for. 30% reductions was the headline, but the true cost to all of these people is in the $100 to $800k's in terminated options and stock shares washed away.
Another story trying to cold water this approval? Would be nice if he got behind this for a change - in the hope it will help a bunch of people with these awful symptoms.
One thing going for DNR is they've stuck all of their employees with stock now worth about 10% of original cost - so these people will hold on to their shares. However, they still have the same exec team who should have been put out before the other employees released this year. Too funny with these guys!
Too funny! the same old line that I am confident Denbury has the leadership and vision to navigate the current low commodity price environment and succeed. How about bringing in a successful mgt team.
Not a time to sell with upcoming events just in case direction is turning. DNR being hi-beta will run with the price. And many employees and former are stuck with up to 100k shares so they definitely can't sell. WS has little confidence in management...but it has assets...would be nice to get an engineer type to turn the company around....even a Dave at Devon type would do.
Unless you need the cash....gotta stay the course on this. ACAD I think swayed the FDA and public thinking for these 2 similar no other hope drugs. Big risk yes...but momentum wins.
Probably a good time to buy in while others flee this week. They have OK assets with poor management...at some point in time they will focus on this and not on any BOD news which is all they've had to offer lately.
And you still have hundreds of employees with thousands of shares priced above 18 working for higher pps. Still the best thing is if you would bring in proven management and send these accounting types packing.
