Are you saying that 1000 shares of current ARP will result in 500 share of Atlas Energy(new) and 1000 shares of ARP(existing, minus spun off assets)? Thanks!
Say one has 1000 shares of ARP....what will they have after the dust settles? Obviously, the Street isn't very impressed this morning!
Dr. Chen, Would you please enlighten the board with a more thorough treatment of your thesis. More specifically, how do the thermodynamic relationships defining any energy driven system in nature as defined by enthalpy, entropy, and the conservation of mass and energy play in to this? Thanks in advance on behalf of the board! As a crowning tidbit, where does the resulting imbalance of order/disorder accumulate and how is it accounted for? Thanks again!
Checker, "your seventh graders.".....just curious, are you referring to your classmates?
texasdem, You are on to something! Just require a 'body cam' on every employee. Broadcast their behavior on large screen TV's in the restaurant, so everyone is aware of what each employee is doing in the restrooms. Modern technology can bring the transparency required to insure compliance.....
The solution is simple! There should be government employed observers stationed in every restroom. Employees would be required to pass through a screening process, similar to an airport screening setup, but, more specific to clean hands, before they are allowed to return to work. Restaurant employees who are determined to not have washed their hands to a government mandated standard, would be required to take a government sponsored four week training program on proper hand washing techniques. The program would be paid for by 'taxing' the employee tips at a nominal 50% rate. Excess funds that might be collected would be transferred to the general fund. Easy!
foxchecker, One of your more intelligent posts.....!
fisher, Just asking an obvious question. As you point out, it is very difficult to buy or sell more than a few hundred shares in a trade, yet, day after day, the volume has been exceeding the average by a significant margin. Where are the shares coming from and who is buying them. As I have stated before, I am long PW stock.
It is just a matter of price.......? After all, what's a few $100m to a truly dedicated short....?
Big boys are buying all they can find in premarket!
The market may be a little slow to catch on, but MNKD is going to move much higher! You shorts should hold on or even increase your 'bet' to prove that longs have it wrong. In the meantime a lot of big shorts are heading for the exit! The little guys can avoid the crowds by waiting until later to cover. That is the normal trend in a short squeeze!
Actually, Chinese Banks will report good earnings, because they can write down what ever numbers they want. No need for real accounting practices in China.
If you are a diabetic, are you going to continue to inject insulin or switch to an inhaler? Use your brain, not accept what some analyst with an agenda wants you to believe!
Today's volume was approx. 3% of the shares outstanding! If it is one or two large buyers driving the recent higher volume days, then there has to be some SEC filings soon.
David Lesser is still buying. Latest form 4 yesterday indicates he now owns over 20% of the shares outstanding. His spouse is on the legal team.
dar, I have traded quite a few NRF/NSAM options over the past couple of years. Agree, it is difficult to buy or sell with the spreads the MM displays. Only way that I have found to realize the full value on the sell side is to exercise the options and then sell the shares you don't wish to hold. Buying, is a 'limit and wait' game. Not much liquidity, but, very rewarding once a decent position has been established! Best regards!
