A secondary would not surprise me at all. It is only a matter of when? Hamo has used them very effectively in the past. Will all depend on whether he wants to go 'post' spin or pre spin? Post would provide him with some early 'growth' for the new company. Pre, would make sense if he has a series of opportunities in the waiting. At the current price levels, it isn't going to save shorty's bacon. They are major 'under water'!
Longs aren't selling prior to the upcoming spin and divi. Portfolio adjustments were largely made prior to year end or in January by longs. If anything longs are selectively building their positions. You are running out of time to beat the $15 price. (be sure and add the $0.22 for the dividend)
Company reorganizes, PAL common holders get nothing, late 'Big Money' assumes assets, current management remains in tact with the exception of those who take an exit package, company starts mining Pd as a 'new' entity. New set of fools, but not me next time, buy in to the cycle and it starts all over again. Long and done! Good luck!
There were also a couple of 'heavy shorting' days on Feb3 and Feb 4. These numbers would not be in the latest report. Shorty is getting fairly close to the 60 m level!!
MM are complicit in the whole thing as well. When the stock 'tic' changes by 0.0001 on 100 share trades (1 cent), over and over, again it ain't Mr. retail...... However, shorts are still losing their backside, and they aren't Mr retail either.
West Virginia still has plenty of water, unlike California.......and they haven't had to drain all the states around them. Guess they are smarter than California's leadership. How many millions of tons of chemicals do Californian's dump into their water supply every year Think, before you answer......
Eastafrica, You continue to be one of the most racist individuals on this board.
Lets see if I got this right. Liberal Californians destroy millions of acres of desert habitat for their houses, communities, and agriculture. Next, they consume every drop of water from the Rocky Mountain western watershed to compound the earlier decision to develop the desert. Now, being good Libs, they would like the rest of the country to believe that they are such a valuable resource to the rest of the country that this is all OK? Have I got this right?
'We'.....Big H......you been working in the fields, lately? I thought you were posting 24/7, which brings no value to the world!
I like the spin setup they have described. My major concern had been the spin ratio which in my mind would have left NSAM with too many shares initially with a very light asset base. The reverse split of NRF and then the 1:1 spin solves the problem! The NRF dividend becomes less of an issue after the spin, because the 1cent per quarter minimum should be a lot easier to fund going forward. Hamo continues to impress. Will be interesting to see how the short shills try to spin the reverse split. Shorts are truly in huge trouble. Hamo is building the base for NSAM to grow like a weed. Since NRF stock holders will own the company, I don't have a problem with the fee structure. Long and strong. Will be adding more on any weakness.
Shorts and longs both had an opportunity to make money in DDD today. Market Makers made a fortune.....!
The only logic I can see with this high volume of short trading is that some 'in the know' (or in the deal) firms are aware of the next equity offering? There has appeared to be some 'front running' the last couple of times? I would think Hamo would like to feather the launch of the new corp once or twice more! Just thinking out loud! Staying long!
My lib neighbor says there is no inflation under Obama Administration. Prices are just going up, he explained? ....Huh?!
Read Jan 30 and 31 notes. Wishing you had covered yesterday near the close is covered under items 2 and 6 in Jan 31 note and upcoming dividend is covered under Jan 30 note.
