They are all out of 'reality' reasons to short PLUG. I can see the next Seeking Alpha tittle now.... 'A respected Short analyst, Chicken Little, says the sky is falling over the Plug manufacturing facility and everyone should evacuate the area........'
They obviously have a problem. Seeking Alpha appears to have become a total shill in support of short BS. Pity.....
Unfortunately, CNBC could give a #$%$. I use to watch them all day every day. I couldn't even tell you what channel number they are on anymore. Too, many agenda driven discussions and guests. No thank you!
dar, I just came off the golf course and didn't see where the short numbers had been posted. Looks like we posted them a few seconds apart. I am still a little surprised at the magnitude of the number, even with the option play!
What keeps that guy on the air?
This is the best I have witnessed from this management team. Like the cash. I understand that a couple of large projects have been completed which will have an affect on backlog. If the anticipated 'wins' are forthcoming in the next few months, the worm has finally turned. Will hold my remaining shares. Expect some 'sell on the news' knee jerk reaction' but, that will only be an opportunity for longs!
One of the beauties of PLUG Power is that the technology risk is no longer a factor. The fuel cell is fully developed and proven technology. This is all about the rollout of a commercial application that is well underway. It is not about current financial performance!
Just traders playing their game and shorts trying once again to stop this train!!
phieco, Next time you change your user name I suggest you just use 'idiot'.......
I am very long NRF and intend to hold pre and post spin based on Hamo's proven track record. With that said, I have no expectation that NSAM will perform like AAMC. There are several 'red flags' that pop up when I look at AAMC: 1) Incorporated in the Virgin Islands. Reason, most likely, is to shelter money. 2) As a 'foreign corporation' investing in the US, taxes are deferred until repatriation of proceeds....if ever. Nice thought until the IRS gets involved. 3) Total 'float' 1m shares, closely held. (you don't think it's being manipulated do you?) 4) My experience with stocks that don't make sense is they crash and burn IMHO.
I see NSAM totally different. Will have a decent float, is controlled by NRF stockholders, will likely show years of profitable growth going forward, has Hamo at the helm, actually has a business plan to execute. I do believe NSAM will make a lot of money over the coming years for holders, I don't see it to be anything like AAMC.....and that is a good thing! IMHO
You can answer your own question. Don't flush next time and let her float for a week or so. Notice, it doesn't do anything except stink a little more each day. Way past time to flush this one.
Shorts are getting desperate and will try to raise expectations by pumping into report. The numbers are what they are at this point. Wall Street invests on the future, not the past! No doubt the World has changed for PLUG. Hydrogen fuel has finally found its place and is in the very beginning of its growth.
