Civil law is tricky business. PW counsel appears to be trying to keep the focus on the relevant issues while NFS/WLE counsel appears to be attempting to flood the court with trivia. In a normal world, the behavior of WLE/NFS during discovery would be enough to convince the judge that there are major issues with their case. (the judge appears to be well seasoned and I am sure that the lack of candor, initial failure to produce obviously relevant documents, apparent concealment of previous transactions and unprepared deposed witnesses hasn't gone un-noticed). It is amazing that this whole thing started over a $4500 legal bill! NFS has to be questioning how this all got out of hand. NFS/WLE lose regardless of the judge's decision......it is just a matter of how much! One would have to question why NFS didn't buy out PW when things started to spin out of control? IMHO!
I still expect some type of settlement, but, lawyers make more money by running the clock. PW appears to have the better legal team while NFS/WLE has a legal team that appears to be applying the 'confuse the issues' with lots of extraneous input to the Court, approach. I expect PW to prevail in the case on at least most of the more significant issues. All IMHO! Good luck longs!
Oh, the shooter was black and the victims were white? Nothing to see here folks.....move along....! God help America.....!
Mr Chum. Hey SFB......lets take a look at the stock price and dividend rate since Jeff took over as CEO? Wouldn't that be a more 'honest' assessment of Jeff's performance? Not to mention the rise in the stock market of several thousand DOW points during that period!
Would certainly decrease the time for more folks to make it to and across the US boarder.
Nice move Jeff! Company didn't need the $15B+ anyway!
north, and what is their business.........what is it they produce....?
Unfortunately, turns out the architect of Obamacare has admitted that the program was 'sold' through lies to the American people. Said it would never have passed if the American people understood it!
Except for Dividend re-investment, the plan seems to have a absurd cost to the public investor?
They should use the money to put together his exit package. Please tell me what GE performance metric since he took over has improved? Stock price? Dividend? Net Income? Margin? ?????
