Soooo.....you are finally admitting that Obama was not qualified for the job? Refreshing!
joema, You left out 'bigot' which you obviously are. You seem to measure others by what might be different!
dar, I was also expecting a decrease after the last share offering by NRF. Maybe, they are anticipating another follow on offering prior to spin? I can't imagine why the company would do one if spin date is going to be June 30. Good for everyone....except shorts....to hold off on additional equity raise until after. No one knows for sure where NASM is headed after the spin, but the risk of being short far exceeds the potential IMHO. I am sure there are some option hedge positions, but, I am also sure there are a lot of significant option positions by longs who are already overweight the shares and are leveraging up!.
Very interesting data. Some folks apparently don't think the spin is going to happen, I guess??? or, maybe they are thinking that investors are over reacting???? Thoughts?
How do you know that? I don't think Obama's mother would have been declaring all her income.......just saying....
Which ones, BHB? It is not apparent to the rest of us as to who they are? Give us some names......
Once we are back above $17 there is light resistance at 17.01, then 17.11, then 17.19 and 17.34. I would expect all of these to fall by (or on) 'spin effective' announcement date. A sprint to $18 into wi trading is a very reasonable possibility, once 17.34 falls, I agree. Once wi trading begins, it is all a new ball game. Some weak hands with decent profits may bail, but, patient longs will continue to be rewarded, IMHO!
mikey, My understanding was that the trees absorb CO2 in the photosynthesis process and release O2. The carbon is incorporated in the growth structure of the plant/tree? In this case my trees are reducing the CO2 in the atmosphere? This is what I took away from elementary school science? Maybe one of the global warming experts on the board knows differently?
I own many many acres of forest land......tree farms. Some guy called me from NY and suggested that I was not taking advantage of a real financial opportunity, since I hadn't 'sold my carbon credits'. He said he could take care of the paperwork and 'manage the transaction' for me, for a 'modest fee'. He further went on to explain how I would be 'helping the environment' by reducing CO2 which is causing global warming. I asked him how me selling carbon credits was going to reduce greenhouse emissions?
He quickly explained that the entity that would buy the credits would be a company that wanted to build a factory, or power plant or some other emission source and needed the offset credits to be permitted to do that. Huh? I said, I don't understand how that works? I have forest lands that are never cleared since they are managed in a manner that only using occasional thinning to harvest,( never clear cutting), thus generating renewable (perpetual) forests. Since my forests are already helping the environment, I asked how selling my carbon credits was going to help further? He went on to explain how I didn't understand how the carbon credit thing works, and I should read some of Al Gores literature. I didn't sell any carbon credits.
My question to you climate 'experts'......am I hurting the environment by simply owning managed forest lands and not selling my credits? Thanks in advance....!
Flash!!! ggekko is an idiot!.......no, wait, that isn't news, it is a well established fact!
I am impressed....I didn't think you had made it all the way to the 6th grade. It's a shame that a fruit cake like you, is trying to indoctrinate young minds with trash science.,
If NASM doesn't move up too quickly, is there any restriction to NRF purchasing shares on the open market as an 'investment'? They will certainly have a good feel for upcoming deals? The 'tax haven' entity will be established once the 'spin' is done. Why not own a minority position in the company?
I am neither a Republican nor a Tea- party member....but....you are still an idiot. All the verification for that fact is in your posts.....! Only an idiot would not reach that conclusion after reading your posts. It may be difficult for you to see that.
I agree with everything you are saying, but, it is time for a change at the top. Hire somebody who knows how to run a business! Zero executive bonuses, options, or raises until the company is net income positive!
