    TWTR revenue

If you want to make the absurd comparison to the metal industry, then at least use a progressive company to compare it to rather than old worn out and poorly managed American companies. Posco (PKX) is the leading steel company in Korea. It has a $19 Billion market cap even in this poor commodity market. Four years ago, when iron was more in demand, Posco's valuation exceeded $38.5 Billion - for a steel company! A $38.5 Billion valuation for Twitter would put it at $58.84 a share! So you can see that TWTR stock price is not so absurd here even when comparing it to a metal company.

A few months ago, we mentioned some features coming soon, and today we’re excited to start rolling out two of them: group messaging and a new mobile video experience.

    Converse with a group, privately
Private conversations on Twitter are a great complement to the largely public experience on the platform. You might prefer to read (or watch) Tweets but converse about them privately. You might want to continue a public conversation privately with a smaller group, or start one based on a Tweet you saw. Many of you use Direct Messages to reach the people and brands you’re only connected to on Twitter. Whatever the case may be, the ability to converse privately with groups gives you more options for how and with whom you communicate on Twitter.

The home timeline is a great place to have conversations but it’s also a place to find great conversation starters.

The group function lets you start conversations with any of your followers and they don’t all need to follow one another in order to chat. You can create a group in just a few taps. When you’re added to a group, you’ll get a notification. If you’re brand new to Direct Messages, here’s a good resource to learn more.

Capture, edit and share videos right from your Twitter app
Tweets have been more than 140 characters for some time. The Twitter you experience today is rich and immersive, full of images, gifs, Vines, audio files and videos from some of the world’s most recognizable figures and brands. And starting today, everyone will soon be able to seamlessly capture, edit and share videos right from the Twitter app, too.

We designed our camera to be simple to use so you can capture and share life’s most interesting moments as they happen. In just a few taps you can add a video to unfolding conversations, share your perspective of a live event, and show your everyday moments instantly, without ever having to leave the app. Viewing and playing videos is just as simple: videos are previewed with a thumbnail and you c

Yep - Stock is undervalued and all analysts have a higher price, even after lowering today, then it is now trading at. Some of those who lowered are at 45 or above.

  • They are sitting on a ton of cash - Big Buyback coming & stock will pop.

  • Advertising revenue totaled $388 million, an increase of 72% from a year earlier. Without the impact of foreign exchange rates, ad revenue would have been up 78%. Mobile advertising revenue was 89% of total ad revenue and international revenue was 34% of total revenue. International revenue totaled $147 million, an increase of 109% from a year earlier.

This is a screaming buy here. Shorting here will get hurt.

  • Anyone who sold here is very smart. China generators being cancelled while 14% of GE revenues come from oil and gas sector. They had to sell GECC, they are in huge trouble

Why would anyone in their right mind sell here when you know Ciena has incorporated Dragonwave into its products and will buy them out. If you think a couple pennies is a "pop", you better cover quick - you ain't seen nothing yet.

    Why Is DRWI so Cheap?

    by news_to_use Mar 31, 2015 3:06 PM
    news_to_use news_to_use Mar 31, 2015 8:22 PM Flag

Yep, you're a jerk. The purchase price consisted of EUR10.6 million in cash, subject to customary post-closing adjustments, and 2,000,978 common shares of DragonWave(traded at $3.10 a share on closing). They also took over EUR of 10 million in employee liabilities and the Master Acquisition Agreement also includes a capital lease or similar deferred sale agreement from Nokia Siemens Networks to DragonWave of approximately EUR3.9 million of equipment. In addition they also agreed to earnouts of up to EUR $80 million. The hardware earnouts ran for 2 years, so they are now done. The software ran for 4 years so they still have 1 year left on these earnouts. Euro was trading at $1.24 on June 1, 2012, so they paid total US dollars of $33.23 million plus earnouts. BTW - the shares were restricted from sale for 2 years which ended May 31, 2014, so I answered my own question - that's why it got so cheap. The selling is now over.

DRWI is trading here for about what they paid for Nokia Siemens Networks' microwave transport business in 2012. That's absolutely ridiculous! Is it because people think they'll be delisted? Personally, I'd like to see them get off the Nasdaq - they'll still be listed in Toronto where they trade at 40% higher market cap! Most American investors are stupid as #$%$. I bought a bunch of DRWI stock over the past ten days or so. This is one of the hardest stocks I've ever bought - every time I put in a larger order it starts popping up. It's been excruciating painful having to buy in such small lots. I'll buy a ton more if they drop lower. I'll hold for at least $3, which is coming. I do believe that Ciena or Cisco will buy them out in the near future.

    To Start Conversation, From FactsCheck

I am not surprised that you would reject FactsCheck. You and all other shareholders denied the fact that Shultz put the sales of their stores in Chile and Mexico into Operating Earnings, even though they announced it in their 10Q under footnotes to their income statement and stated it was against GAAP accounting procedures.

  • We thought we’d check these claims out.

    The analysis

It’s true that around 13 per cent of Americans are black, according to the latest estimates from the US Census Bureau.

And yes, according to the Bureau of Justice Statistics, black offenders committed 52 per cent of homicides recorded in the data between 1980 and 2008. Only 45 per cent of the offenders were white. Homicide is a broader category than “murder” but let’s not split hairs.

27 bjs use FactCheck: do black Americans commit more crime?

Blacks were disproportionately likely to commit homicide and to be the victims. In 2008 the offending rate for blacks was seven times higher than for whites and the victimisation rate was six times higher.

  • I'm putting my reputation as a trader on the line here and calling the bottom for WTI. Most people who know me know that I have been a professional trader since 1987 and have fought many a battle with the guys over at GS for many years. For you novices who went short on WTI on pseudo-news, you might want to reread this and think about it for awhile: "The Russian production figure is for crude and condensates, an ultralight oil that yields a greater proportion of high-value fuels. Production averaged 10.58 million barrels a day for 2014, also a post-Soviet record. Preliminary data, which didn’t reflect shipments by Gazprom Neft and may be revised, showed a decline in exports.
The previous post-Soviet oil production record was 10.64 million barrels a day in October, CDU-TEK data show. It rose above 11.4 million barrels a day in 1987, the Soviet-era peak, data from BP Plc show.
Brent crude, used to price about half of the world’s oil including Russia’s main export blend Urals, gained 0.5 percent today to $57.60 on the ICE Futures Europe exchange at 10:40 a.m. in London. It settled at $57.33 a barrel on Dec. 31, the lowest closing price since May 2009." Please also be aware that an extra few hundred thousand barrels coming out of Iraq doesn't mean beans.
