The cat will soon be left out of the bag. As predicted a few short months ago, the stock will hit $5.25. Now that we are there, the BH announcement will have to be reported any day. I am moving my sell price up to $6.85 but depending on how quickly we get there, maybe even higher. The fundamentals for the company appear brighter than in any time since 2007.
pj my buddy,
doesn't that depend on whether you own it, or thinking of buying?
the momentum is growing on this one and should easily pass 6.25 in next three months. i bought more and glad I missed the sell point while out on the boat.
this stock will blow past $5.25 and next stop up should be in $6.25 range. Buy Buy Buy lots of good things working well for this company, seems as though the circ slide has hit bottom, making traction on paywalls and also doing pretty well on Sunday
Revenue 361 million gains from circulation and direct marketing/Sunday select programs
Net earnings to be $21 million which is much better than last year
Internet/digital to be up 1.5% at most
Stock should bounce to 5.25 in next ten days
Come on, the POTUS has absolutely nothing to do with companies hiring workers or firing workers or moving jobs overseas. These are decisions made by individual companies. Companies that want to grow, hire. It's pretty simple
My sell point was $5.25 but it looks like I missed it last week. I hate when that happens and am often too stubborn to sell after a price drop, thinking that the momentum will reverse and move up again. The late day volume has slowed but it still feels to me that this stock is being acquired. Dear mr. Buffett, please pull the trigger already.
It seems to me that the late day activity has been the biggest contributor. Acquisition is taking place, could be a revived economy play or is Warren B going to add this to his ever growing stable of newspaper companies. He could wipe out the debt and reinvest in the company by hiring more digital savvy sales reps, and also improve the quality of the news product, which has been slimmed due to Gary Pruitt's miserably timed purchase of Knight Ridder
Exactly as predicted a few months ago
The price movement on this stock reflects the solid action at the end of every day. Could Warren B finally be loading up on this stock, or is some other billionaire loading up. Still holding waiting for the $5.25 exit point predicted just a few short months ago. Solidly bullish even after this 50% move in the past 45 days. Stay long, stay strong.
Sentiment: Strong Buy
