Agree with you on this.. Hopefully, they weren't overly hedged to point they are unable to take full advantage of the cheap oil prices!

I recall doing some research into this space about 5 years ago and narrowing my choice for this sector down to either SNH or OHI. Upon reflection, I note that SNH has barely moved while OHI is 2X with some dividend growth as well. This apparently was not one of my better investment decisions! Then again, F, at circa $2/share was a no brainer!
I can see you are eager, however, less than a month doesn't establish a trend even though you might be correct as many have predicted for the years ahead.

Why aren't you shorting the oil stocks & MLP businesses? You can pay out their divvies very shortly but could collect a few bucks, maybe!
Maybe he's invested in LINE. LINE is down more than $4 and recently cut its monthly dividend big time! Actually, I believe it is more than 50% off its 52 week high. Some of the other monthly payers are CDO type REITs which will probably tank when interest rates begin to rise later this year. As someone noted, there can be risks that accompany high yield investments.

Well, EPD just announced 51st consequetive distribution increase while its unit valuation is dropping today $1.25. Per my calculations, this would seem a good time to be loading up here or there, depending on your approach to potential risk.
