chris - how did that call work out for you when you posted the exact same thing about EVOL when it was $5?
If anyone goes and looks at your off-the-wall ridiculous posts from August on the EVOL board they will see how incredibly stupid you are. You and your other 10 aliases.
Amazing that folks like you exist and sad to think there may be people who believe the nonsense you post.
For me it's still a pass. Debt is over 3x annual revenues. Earnings estimates for 2014 are for higher losses. Dividend is going to have to be cut.
I don't see a catalyst, and I don't see any officers buying - ever. If one of them makes a good size purchase then I might start to become interested.
I don't like to place a high value on BV if they are announcing big losses - that will take BV down going forward. EPS for 2014 is a loss of 68 cents/share - I don't know that the company has the ability to ever post a profit. Now, we know that doesn't mean that the shares can't/won't go higher (just get some SA author to pump it), but I like some stronger fundamentals to provide a bit of a safety net. In this case, the dividend might be that safety net, but I don't see how they can maintain it.
I will buy more if they drop it below $1.10 again. I'll play with the MM some more and test how much he will fill me at one time. 2500 works, but 10,000 he will not give me...I guess I'll try 5000 next.
Preparation for shameless pumper's next act - his Cramer imitation "interviewing" the CEO. Idiot even says so in the stupid article...coming next week. Shares will be pumped, then fall back even further.
Don't be so gullible - this inventory issue is an accounting fiasco requiring restatement of past financials/earnings and impacting the current balance sheet. There will be a write down. This is all very bad stuff and the shameless pumper just brushes it off as not a big deal. Shares are being punished for doing the right thing - because the shares had no business trading where they were in the first place. Shares are now trading basically where they were before the pumping began.
If you hadn't noticed, the indexes were up strong today - shares simply followed the markets - they were down early and bounced back along with the market. Don't make more out of it than it is. The markets will be down some next week, and SMTX shares will likely follow.
Yes, we'll see where the shares are in 5 months.
Check it out - someone buying 25,000 shares a pop. Also looks like someone knew they were coming - exactly 10,000 shares traded right before it at 2.05-2.10.

But where is the insider purchasing?
I am suspect with oil/resource/commodity companies book value because much of it is based on reserves and then they annually adjust the value. So BV is generally a moving target with these companies.
Shares trend to $1.50 or less.
The street has had enough of the shameless pumping.
Even scamming it to their Pro subscribers ahead of the sheep couldn't prop it up this time.
What a joke!
I owned it for a few months in the fall - like watching wet paint dry. Low float, thin trading volume never could get out of $3.30 - $3.40 range. Current price looks like it's broken out a little.
I seem to remember in the last earnings report they said they closed a facility and were consolidating into their main one - so there may be some restructuring charges coming.
As mentioned - the MM is playing games. I acquired about 15k shares at 1.13-1.15 over past couple days. Here's how you do it.
MM currently has 100 @ $1.09 x 200 @ $1.16 - put your order in for maybe 2000 shares @ $1.10, he will immediately step in front of you with 100 @ $1.11, you move up to $1.12 and just let it sit there - in a couple hours he will lower ask to $1.13 or $1.14 with 600 or 700 shares and then you can grab some. Also, just because he shows 600 or 700 on the ask doesn't necessarily mean that he doesn't really have more. Try it - it's not as difficult to get shares as with ATEA.
Last year was a new product ramp, this year they are competing head to head with tablets which are more powerful and more functional.
