? Conclusion(s) – AMRN is reporting 1Q:13 earnings next Thursday after the close. We
are lowering our 1Q:13 and 2013 Vascepa estimates to reflect a moderated early ramp
for the drug. While the Vascepa launch is basically in-line or ahead of Lovaza’s initial
market launch, it appears slower than our initial expectations. Given the numerous
variables in the initial quarters of the drug launch including sampling, stocking and
cycles of patients transition from other drugs, we view the sales during the 2H:13 will
be more telling of the true underlying demand for Vascepa. Our long-term view of the
commercial opportunity for Vascepa remains unchanged, maintain TP $13.

It does bother me that another analyst came out this morning saying that the launch/script growth was slower than originally expected. That's like 3 or 4 now.
Did these analysts overshoot their expectations that much or was the phrase "block buster" just bantered around too much with not enough sales reps to handle it?
I am just hoping there is much more going on behind the scenes that we dont know about from AMRN's viewpoint -- the type of stuff you wake up to one morning and go "WHOA". Never held a drug through a launch before (especially one labeled by so many as a BB) and like most longs, & am SO frustrated with this rediculous valuation.
I agree with you Harvey that a solid breakdown of the current qtr accomplishments along with something going forward would be of a big benefit.

I cant remember ever owning a more frustrating stock in my life. Not a thing to do about it, sitting so deep in the red, yet just SO full of promise. I've also seen more remarkable DD on this stock from some real stellar people. I've got all I can stand to own -- about 25K now so wont add any more, but this daily dropping is mind blowing. Hanging in there with the rest of you.

I've learned to bite my tongue after getting suspended from stocktwits (& having to grovel to get back on) for trashing AF and got to the point of putting more people on ignore than those I actually look for & read. We know who the good ones are & the rest are a complete waste of time.

re rawnoc: agree 100%. IHUB basically worthless now. The only person I look to read there (who was formerly here) is kaylawa. Williams has gone over there too & has been quite impressive.
No matter where you go, YMB, IHUB, Stocktwits, you get to know who to look for & the rest are on ignore. I do NOT waste my time with the shorts or idiots with agendas.
