there will be no limit to the price of oil. This is not something to gloat about it will be horrible. But obama and kerry are hell bent on giving Iran the nuclear bomb .and you be sure Iran or their ambassadors of terror will use it. imho
just ask Ayatollah Khameni..
in the middle east. This makes complete sense for Satoil
recreated.Hold out for right price.
Everything you say is valid Except one thing. I am living in the future. The future when Kuwait and Saudi Arabia look like Yemen and Libya, Syria and Iraq. Thanks to Iran , isis, Obama and Kerry i think this is coming.I believe the Risk is great than ever and the risk premium has never been lower. So i do believe in the next few years oil will be over $100 again.Study iran in yemen and isis in western iraq and there desire to control Mecca and Medina and you will see why this is inevitable. But short term you are right Wll does need partners. But their assets are much more valuable than current market prices.
All forecasts are for worldwide oil consumption to rise significantly over the next 5 years.Even if U.S. demand stays flat.As for Valuation of Whiting if the price rises to just$65 a barrel the co.is worth 20 $billion based on even your %80 extraction costs. Yemen, libya who is next?
Do the math.Pick your price per barrel and cost to extract.A large player will have synergies and probably find more oil on Whitings properties. Add some technological advancements , So there is value here, $10 billion $25 billion .all depends on the time horizon and the price of oil.
blow up in unimaginable ways, thanks to Iran becoming nuclear and their desire to take over Saudi Arabia.Long term large players recognize the need for Safe oil sources of Domestic oil. Patience
off the grid baby!!
I mean 10 years of no shareholder value created. If Jack were still in charge Immelt would have been fired.Jeff is a nice guy …you know what they say...
Joe blough Harold Hamm no messiah. But Great American .By helping America become energy independent he will be saving our children's lives. No more fighting for oil in the muddle east.
your hate.So stop wasting board space.Harold Hamm is making America great again.
i thought continental was going under. Imagine when oil prices get back to normal how well this co, will do.
